Volunteer. He's probably sacrificed his nights and weekends while working a full time job for 30 years while others so offended by this mistake he made were smoking weed and drinking and living off food stamps.

The hypocrisy from the left on this issue is amazing because it's very common tactic they use and if it was them they would also be boycotting the advertisers, the networks etc, etc.
This. I think the player protesters are hypocrites as money trumps race by light years and they have mountains of money. Just another reason to not watch besides zero team loyalty, coddled criminal players, ridiculous prices... I dont tell people they are wrong for watching. This decision is mine alone.

The NFL has had numerous domestic abuse issues involving wife/girlfriend beaters, a dog killer, multiple DUIs, players with illegal firearms, and players involved with killings, and yet you still watched football. And yet, if someone protests the national anthem, now you're so appalled you will no longer watch the games. Why?
The national anthem is something very sacred to most Americans. Not standing for the national anthem, especially if you're in a high profile position, makes you look like a traitor to your nation.
People are right to question your loyalties and motives.

Not really defending anyone, just pointing out that some people live a life of crime, impregnating multiple women, living off welfare...yet this guy who has given so much makes one mistake and they turn him into a terrible person.
I couldn't care less for any liberal outrage no matter what is said.
