Notice how most all the responses from the leftist here absolutely uphold the right to "protest America" and "protest as a citizen" in the case of a little snot-nosed kid doing something that he probably hasn't a clue as to why he is doing it. Yet when those "citizens with rights" protest and attempt to refuse the real tyranny the government doles out, they are strangely out of phase and their smartass comments about "obey, little citizen to be" are literal rather than sarcastic.

No, I was certainly never taught that what you have or have not seen should reflect on my education.

I don't say that "since children aren't able to understand what keeling means, then they must stand".
What did I post that you so badly misunderstood?

My question is, why do people who assume that children who don't want to stand for the pledge, for whatever reason(s), aren't able to understand their reasons for not doing so but are able to understand what standing for the pledge means?

You've asked

*Ignoring your poisoning of the well, which, might actually, have been your only intention in this thread.

Like I said, to each her/his own. To me, it is exactly teaching the children structure and self-discipline. They (children) might not like it, but they sometimes have to do things they don't like.

It is life.

well, but then again, if you believe Standing for the pledge of allegiance is a BAD thing, then by all means, don't stand.

Might be an odd question but how do we know the 6 year old is a member of the left?

Then we get into insane wars to protect the investors of another country because the natives of that country do not want to be economically enslaved as colonial under the exploiters. Finally a country that was stupid enough to elect a egomaniacal showman/thief/liar/bankrupt/ Russian agent as President.
TRANSLATION: The sins committed by Americans in past history are un-expungible, and there is no point in our even trying to do things better now. We leftists will continue to permanently condemn America no matter what, so "tough love" to get people to do the right thing is pointless and useless. We will continue to make fools of ourselves with silly "protests" and ignore the fact that the vast majority of Americans aren't doing, or even considering, the rare acts we are talking about.

Hypocrite (noun)

1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

The day I note that you have deeded your real property to an "original Amerindian" and that you have ceased to support the de facto plantation-style slavery in which the US Government now engages is the day I will take your words seriously.

Meh, religion as practiced within the family circle is a very different kettle of fish.
