Only to the extent that government is running schools, are teachers, principals etc. forbidden to abridge the freedom of speech.

The solution to this is simple. The problem is, govt having too much influence in schools. Get the government out of schools, and the problem is solved. Let locally elected school boards run the school boards instead. And let them charge levies to residents to support the schools, instead of Federal tax money.

Problem solved.

Now, wasn't that easy? Look at all the problems it would clear up. No only would locals finally be in charge of their own schools, able to impose their own will on schools they pay for, but students would even be able to PRAY in school if the parents want.

An extra benefit, is that the Federal government would finally be in conformance with the Constitution with regard to non-military schools, for the first time in more than a century, as the Framers originally intended.
Most school districts get less than 10% of their budgets from the feds. IMO, any organization can cut back 10%.

Getting the feds out wouldn't take much.

So stop watching I don't care. Remove the singing of the nation anthem from sports period. If you want to stop watching because you think they should stand then stop watching I could careless either way. My boss tells me to stand/sing ,place my hand over my heart, etc. I'll tell him to kiss my arse as well should anyone else. This isn't a third world country. Yet. Have no fear we're getting closer to that everyday.

Who is removing G-D from society?

You are free to worship any way you want. Some of us object when your team wants tax dollars and public property to do your worshipping.

My Bible informs me that no one knows the day or the hour. So Revelation is still code for me.

If peacefully protesting racism as done by those who quietly take a knee during the national hymn is considered hating America, does that mean that American stands for racism?

So stop sputtering with emotional drivel if you don't care.

Well, we certainly wouldn't want forced shows of allegiance, would we?

Nothing emotional about it. I care that there are other concerns that are much bigger then someone kneeling at a game. Maybe you all should stop whining when there are other more important issues at stake. IF this is a work place issues then let the NFL handle it.

The NFL made a business decision to take money from the Dept. of Defense to promote the U.S. Armed Forces. Their DEAL required the players to be present, and stand for the pledge of allegiance, and flag. The league, and thus the players, and players' union agreed to the deal. Then they reneged. It is purely a corporate workplace conduct issue, not a freedom issue, but it seems liberal/progressives aren't smart enough to understand that, or purposely LIE about that fact.
