You probably ought to be thankful you weren't there and among the victims. One never knows when their time is up. You ought to reflect on that and make peace with God.
Just another day in 'Murica, where owning an arsenal of weapons is a right, but healthcare for the victims of gun violence is a "privilege", which they may or may not be able to afford.
This brings up a good question: How many wounded survivors of the Las Vegas shooting will be saddled with huge medical expenses that may break them financially? Isn't it time for legislation that provides medical care for victims of violence?

Yes the is almost no difference in the ability to send rounds downrange between a lever action, a pump and a semi-auto....as a matter of fact, I can keep reloading some lever actions or pumps as I shoot
better than fumbling with magazines........learn something about firearms before posting....
Thanks, but I know enough about firearms to understand that the claim that the average person can fire as many rounds with a bolt action rifle or a pump shotgun as a semi auto is bull manure. Vegas showed that with brutal effect, so keep making all the nonsensical statements you want.
Besides, it is you bunch of cowboys proclaiming how much safer you are in a gun battle with 10 home invaders with a semi than a shotgun, so spare me your selective nonsense. Or at least be honest enough to pick a side and stick with it no matter the circumstances, instead of altering your claims to fit your need.
Even if they banned and confiscated all guns in this country that guy still would have been up in the Mandalay Bay with his 23 guns shooting people. The law abiding people would follow the law and turn in their guns. The people with bad intentions would not. So the honest unarmed people turn into sitting ducks!!!

He could have wiped out the entire concert venue if he crashed his plane into them.
I would immediately put a $1,000 per bullet tax on any gun or rifle used in any mass shooting in the past year. I guess, that is, if you care for innocent lives.

Who the hell are you to determine what another's needs may be? Yeah, you'd be a perfect fit for North Korea. That's why you belong there. Where the government determines what your needs are.
Gimme' a break, you could care less about mass shootings. You pray for them to happen, they are a means to an end. An end that most people will find repulsive and revolt against. As with all socialist societies you must first dis-arm the populace. All you care about is enslaving the masses to your sordid left wing agenda. But that pesky 2nd Amendment as intended is the only thing that stands in your way. That's the only rational reason you want to get rid of it. You know full well that all the gun laws in the world will never stop another mass murder. You'd also have to get rid of any and all devices and substances that are used to carry out such acts. You want to turn this country into a police state where only the government of which people like you are in charge has all the weapons. You think we're all just a bunch of stupid rednecks unable to figure this all out. Well think again.
You may think that the government has a monopoly of power with their superior weapons. But it is highly unlikely that the military if ordered to do so would come in and destroy all of their friends, families and neighborhoods. There would be nothing left for them to come home to. More than likely they would use those weapons on those who ordered them to do so.
With some 80 million or so legal gun owners and taking an educated guess. I'd say that most members of the military have their own private arms and believe in the 2nd Amendment and Constitutional Law. They've taken oaths to uphold it. Same for members of law enforcement who would refuse to go on house to house searches to confiscate privately held arms. Not only that but there's not enough manpower or money to conduct such a massive operation. Not to mention tying them up from all other duties they are required to perform. They'd also be met with massive armed resistance which would be overwhelming. Hell, after 10 years we couldn't defeat the North Vietnamese with all of our firepower short of using nuclear weapons and igniting another world war. You think they'll do that to their own country?
Then there's all of the retired law enforcement and military veterans that have been trained in both military and law enforcement tactics who are also staunch defenders of the 2nd Amendment. A massive well trained army unto itself.
But keep on trying to abolish our civil liberties and Constitutional Law. You really have no idea of what the reality is that you will have to deal with in the event of a civil war. You'll never win, that you can count on.
