I think there is an acceptance to rag on men, especially white men, more since the election. It is in bad taste and doesn't help us as a society. Many traditionally male jobs have been lost. There are some real issues for men today, but they are being overshadowed by whining MRAs. Maybe the MRAs should take a look at the REAL issues and stop demeaning women and demanding they date losers and jerks. MGTOW is not men going their own way, or they would shut up about how awful women are, and actually just go their own way.

Average Joe in the rust belt doesn't care about that, he wants to be able to support his family and no one is listening. You just talk about competing with third world country sweat shops. Then you call him racist and sexist. That shows what we think of our fellow Americans.

Men will never be forgotten as long as there is a cause seeking a scapegoat.

Very often the father doesn't want custodial custody. Because it interferes with your job, overtime, travel, promotions, flexibility in hours. This is often why women make less. They sacrifice income and advancement so they can have flexible hours to care for kids needs. It interferes with personal time. Your life is no longer your own.

Nope!

But the male snowflakes who feel they're losing ground sure do whine about it a lot.

How about some rugged self-reliance, boys?

No need to bellyache about those big bad girls picking on you.

Carry on.

I almost feel as if women have been elevated to a sacred status. Meanwhile in my city, the streets are filled with homeless vets who've been burned/maimed. Or I walk by construction sites and see men laboring at 4 a.m. in the pouring cold rain. Seems like both men and women have hardships in society, but men's problems don't get as much publicity because there's a huge effort to "prove" that everything is peachy for men and everything sucks for women.
Yes this is becoming a problem. It's reverse discrimination.

Most people I know and work with don't give a rat's a$$ about whether someone is female or male, black or white, old or young. It comes down to whether you have capability, whether you have integrity, whether you are a decent human being or a parasite. In other words, most people use common sense and live in the real world, and need to get real things done. Who has the time or energy to worry about this?

I think this is a good summary. Men's current issues probably aren't viewed as serious or given as much exposure as women's. It's not just white people in the rust belt a lot of black men in cities like Chicago, Baltimore, and Philly are struggling too.

I think what happens is since women are doing really really well right now it's possible men get a little flustered when it's viewed that some women are scoffing at them and not giving a crap or taking things serious. It's probably viewed by some that a lot of women still value a man greatly by his net worth which is a bit of a first world problem when you're taking into account women are making more money than ever.

Women in the U.S. are most likely the wealthiest women in the world whereas men in the U.S. are seeing their purchasing power decline when compared to men in other first world countries in Europe and so on.
