there are major differences

Catholics don't fall for the snake oil, of being "slain in the spirit", and speaking in tongues
I am entitled to my opinion, as you are yours. I grew up in overwhelmingly RC northern cities (where RCs -- and only RCs, no one else -- enjoy 100% tax-payer funded religious schools and huge RC school boards).

The Catholic church teaches that it's the only true religion, so, yes, it, too, essentially teaches that anyone who isn't Catholic is a heretic. Not surprisingly, I've always found that many Catholics seem to think they've cornered the market in moral responsibility and that they're somehow holier and better living than anyone else -- as do many Evangelicals.

So, no, I personally don't see a big difference. *Shrug*.
