Nikolas Cruz, the man charged with killing 17 students during a deadly shooting at a Florida high school on Wednesday, trained with the white supremacist group the Republic of Florida (ROF), according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
A spokesman for the ROF, Jordan Jereb, told the ADL Thursday that Cruz had been a member of his group. A discussion on the forum 4chan also described Cruz as a member of the ROF.
A 2015 report from the Southern Poverty Law Center described Jereb as the leader of ROF and said that he had spent months posting numerous videos warning of a “tyrannical global power running the world.” Jereb has described himself as an “right-wing extremist nut.” He was charged in 2016 for having threatened a staff member of Florida Governor Rick Scott.
Three former classmates told ABC News that the shooter Cruz was seen with Jereb and was a part of the ROF. Jereb told the ADL that his group had not ordered Cruz to shoot up the school.
This coming from the Pres. that overturned the mental illness check for gun ownership. One of his first orders of business after checking in on what the Russians needed.
How obtuse are liberals going to be with this issue? The kid has serious mental issues that probably he was part born with and the rest reinforced in his home. And no help as he got lost in the shuffle in this school with 3,000 plus students.
The problem is far deeper than many of you are making it out to be. These shootings did NOT OCCUR in the past and there were guns everywhere. You could buy guns at Target when I worked there as a teenager, rifles and handguns. No waiting period.
This liberal Utopia people are trying to force on us is killing us.
Small price to pay for "freedom"
Freedom from growing old, freedom from feeling safe when you go out in public, freedom from not having to deal with a bunch of " patriots" walking around 24/7 armed paranoia.
