Thanks for posting that! That girl certainly was on fire. Hard to believe she's only in high school. What ever she chooses for a career she's going to be successful.
As to the OP, kudos to her for speaking out, but I fear she is wrong when she says they are going to be the last mass shooting. Stay tuned. The next one will be along in a week or so. The grownups have no real interest in changing anything.
This upcoming generation is going to have a very different view on gun control.
Because the vocal minority spoke doesn't mean the silent majority has changed there minds. This liberal buzz phrase "gun violence" has already used up its 15 minutes of fame. This is a human violence problem. This violence is caused by a breakdown in the human spirit. Broken hearts, broken minds. When will you folks wake up and address the root causes of the problems?

They are going to have very different views on a lot of things. They are very socially progressive and eschew organized religion. Both bode well for the future.

"We are going to be the last class shooting" and they clapped? They clapped over something an emotional kid said that is nothing more than writing checks with her mouth? She says all these people are going to change the law. They couldn't protect them in the first place why in the world would she think they can protect them now. The same people that ignored the warnings are the ones to help? Boobus doesn't learn.
Then to say it's not just a mental helath issue? She's nuts. Who is blaming the victims? I listened to the first 2 minutes of it. That's all I need to know she's an uninformed, emotional, irrational little kid.
No laws or proposed laws will stop these. Security will.
