Unwilling to read the link or do anything to be informed without some spoon feeding won't get much sympathy around here
Sounds like but you don't know and that sounds like too.
More baseless accusations sounds like.
You are not even discussing the bill. Just whining that is bad because some conservative pundit told you so
Tell us how would you have allocated the money? Are you just upset because congress did nor agree to pay for Trump’s wall? Don’t blame them, Trump said Mexico will pay for it.
I hope Trump does veto the bill, because I predict that then history will be made, as the Democrats in congress will join the Republicans and have enough votes to override the veto. They will show the kind of unified force that is needed to save our country and give Trump a major put-down, in the process.
I haven't heard much from Trump, does he even have an opinion on this other than being for increases in military spending. He is not a conservative when it comes to deficits. There has been some bipartisan criticism of this bill, the method in which this got approved absolutely stinks.
Sen. Kennedy, R-LA comments on the 1.2T omnibus bill was funny but tragic also because he's right.
“The whole process sucks. I think whoever designed this isn’t qualified to run a food truck.â€
Kennedy claimed that senators would “probably get a memo on it tomorrow written in Swahili.â€
“This is a Great Dane-sized whiz down the leg of every taxpayer,â€
Kennedy continued. “Everyone who participates in this process ought to put a bag over their heads.â€
Democrats feel very good because so many of our priorities for the middle class were included," said Schumer.
In contrast, the conservative House Freedom Caucus said all 32 of its members would vote unanimously against the bill.
It's funny how some whine and scream for "compromise", then when it happens they are STILL not SATISFIED.
I DO think the Senate should look long and hard about their rules.
The House passed EVERY SINGLE appropriation bill back in the fall but because of the Senate rules the repubs could NOT get theirs passed.
Harry Reid NEVER passed a Budget bill all during the Obama admin, which is WHY we need such a big spending budgtet now.
Finally, you've become copecetic with my thinking. Hope you're correct on this. Maybe you don't realize this, but your post is very representative of the inevitable realization by republicans, that Trump and his cohorts are not at all of the same political party and are as much at odds with them, as they are with the Democrats. Trump has now, clearly identified himself as the enemy of uts all, so what's the delay in giving him the boot?
Trump had little if anything to do with this bill. He is disinterested and, frankly, mentally incapable of comprehending it. It was written by the DC special interests and lobbyists in collusion with their stooges in both parties like every other budget bill ever passed.

More disappointment for you here as I discus the veto possibility.
The president can veto this nasty bill several ways. One is a "Pocket Veto"
A bill can also become law without the President's signature if, after its presentment, the President simply fails to sign it within the ten days noted. If there are fewer than ten days left in the session before Congress adjourns, and if Congress does so adjourn before the ten days have expired in which the President might sign the bill, then the bill fails to become law. This procedure, when used as a formal device, is called a pocket veto.
