Shooting someone that many times is ridiculous. And lets hope the helicopter had video to corroborate the police or vindicate the victim- otherwise this is yet another steaming pile...

On Sunday night, a San Antonio, Texas resident called 911 to report a man vandalizing homes and smashing in windows. He went outside to find his truck window smashed in. Police responded with helicopter surveillance that spotted the man, Stephon Clark, in the act of breaking windows and fleeing to a backyard.

Ground patrol followed him into the backyard and found him holding an unknown object. One officer believed it to be a weapon yelling "GUN!" and 20 shots were fired, killing Stephon Clark who had recently been released from jail and had a criminal record.

Since the man was black, the Black Lives Matters collective went into action springing mass protests. The criminal did not have a gun, and the officers made an unfortunate mistake. However, completely absent from this outrage in San Antonio was the fact that this individual was out victimizing the neighborhood and running away from police.

Where is the personal responsibility?
Where is your own personal responsibility for posting this false narrative?

You cited the wrong city, and neglected to state that Clark was in his grandparents' backyard holding a mobile phone when he was shot, and that no one identified him as the vandal. The police acted in inexcusably lethal haste, then tried to cover it up, resulting in the slander and death of an innocent man.

"Personal responsibility", my foot.

Nicholas Cruz murdered 17 people in his school and was taken in without shooting him 20 times.
Same for Dylann Roof.

Committing vandalism should not result in an instantaneous death sentence when the police seem perfectly capable of bringing in young men who have actually murdered people.

What punks? The man who was shot was not a vandal, much less armed. He was in his grandparents' backyard, holding a mobile phone.

This is the basic problem with "the black community". How many chances do people expect to get to "turn their life around" before it doesn't work out well?
What proof do you have that Stevon Clark did or experienced any of these things? He did have a jail record, I'll give you that, but served his time and was released. Again, he was standing in his grandparents' backyard, holding a mobile phone, when he was shot 20 times by the police.

Even if someone does bear a name not to your liking and has a bunch of kids, does that justify killing them? Please explain this interesting belief, if you truly hold it.

Clark had a very ordinary name with a slightly alternative spelling, and was the father of two.

Another white police execution victim. Where were the BLM protests here?

WATCH: Sheriff Orders Cops to Kill Unarmed Man, They Do, and Sheriff "Loves It"

Take him out. I’m here on the damn wrong end of the county,” Shoupe said on the body camera, indicating that he was sad that he missed the chance to murder an unarmed man.

“I love this ****. God, I tell you what, I thrive on it,” the sheriff said.

Did he deserve it? No.

But say you wanted to be shot 20 times by cops. You couldn't have picked a much better way than this guy.
