Yes, as witnessed by the original 911 caller and by the police in a helicopter above, who saw him go into the back yard

So please spare everyone the poor innocent victim routine just spending quality time with his granny (in the dark out back!!)

Did you see the video from the helicopter?

I think he qualifies as an innocent victim, even if he was the vandal, which remains to be proven. The caller said there was someone vandalizing cars, he did not identify anyone.

Completely irrelevant. Use of deadly force is about preserving life. Not more. Not less. It doesn't matter if the perpetrator just bashed in the stained-glass windows of the Notre Dame - that's for the courts. Bringing in the perpetrator alive to stand trial is what a professional police force does. Shooting him out of hand is for banana republics.

..he never would have been put in this situation where a scared newbie cop opened fire.
You know what keeps people safe from having scared newbie cops killing them? Training the cops. If you can't keep your head, you shouldn't be issued a badge and a firearm.

BLM doesn't care when unarmed white people are murdered by cops. Neither do white people.
BLM participated in the Damond demonstrations.

It should be relatively easy to determine whether this guy was the vandalizer. He was supposedly using a tool. Where is the tool? Was his garb a match? No reports on that either. It could well be he was the vandal. But the police seems slow to assert that. So I would wait a while.

It was a very odd crime spree for your own neighborhood. Guy nuts?

Read the article. He didn't get shot for vandalism/theft. You're either being obtuse or lack basic reading comprehension skills.

It happens to whites way more than blacks. But most white people are cop bootlickers, so nothing happens.

However, blacks need to stop looting and vandalizing property if they want any sympathy.

I'm not going to post a picture, since I don't want to get banned, but can you imagine if this guy had been black? L.A. would've burned again.

Not to the extent they did with Philando Castile. Even then, there was a backlash amongst BLM itself. This woman claims the response to her shooting was "white supremacy."
