-BLM are a bunch of self-serving, racist hypocrites that couldn't give a damn about the dozens of unarmed white people being executed by cops because it doesn't fit their narrative.
-Police departments should be defunded because they are nothing more than unionized government workers who serve only themselves and the State. See the Broward County Sheriff's Department.
-Private, free-market security is cheaper, more efficient, and far less likely to shoot indiscriminately, and if they do, are much more likely to suffer financial penalties.
Is Broward worse than LAPD?
“Former Police Capt. Daryl Russell collected $1.5 million over five years in the DROP program. He missed nearly three of those years due to pain from a bad knee, carpal tunnel and arm and neck injuries he suffered after falling out of an office chair. (Los Angeles Times)”
Sorry that was a typo from a bad cut and paste, the incident location was Sacramento, California - not San Antonio, Texas. Mod can edit the OP to reflect this
Where is your own personal responsibility for posting this false narrative?
You cited the wrong city, and neglected to state that Clark was in his grandparents' backyard holding a mobile phone when he was shot, and that no one identified him as the vandal. The police acted in inexcusably lethal haste, then tried to cover it up, resulting in the slander and death of an innocent man.
Please refer to CNN article,
"helicopter personnel observed that the suspect had picked up a "toolbar" and broken a window to a residence. The helicopter team observed the man running and looking into another car, police said. The helicopter then guided officers to the man's location in the backyard of a home."
Clark was out smashing and grabbing and the police caught up to him. At the very least he should have hit the ground when cops showed up. Unfortunately when you disobey police instructions only bad things can happen
We don't pay our police enough to be in the line of possible fire.
Bull.
Cops are publicly unionized. Their union is even stronger than the teachers' unions. That's why they very rarely suffer serious consequences and why taxpayers always have to foot the bill every time there's a settlement. They're just like every other government employee.
A free-market system of competing security companies would do a FAR better job than a government monopoly.

Hey, blacks in areas certainly have their issues to work on. No doubt.
However, some if you in this thread are nothing but total pieces of **** racists.
They certainly are. "Thug" is the new n-word.
But it is also true that BLM ignores all the white victims of police brutality because it doesn't fit their narrative.
The most important thing to remember is that police brutality is a DIRECT result of big nanny-state government.
Eric July, black libertarian rapper/vocalist for the group "Backwordz" put it best:
For example, when a cop’s shooting a black man you focus on the racism, ignoring all the statism
Holding signs, rioting is not about to save him
Cause you must’ve forgot that that’s the power that you gave them
