It’s just so very sad that we now have a sitting president who cannot behave in any tangibly coherent manner. A “forest fire”, as Comey worded it, is too kind a description for this mess of a man Trump really is. But as this forum shows, there will be blind supporters who will happily burn in the forest fire and claim it’s freezing.
Trump lawyers fight to shield items seized in FBI raid
Lawyers for President Donald Trump and his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, told a federal judge in New York on Friday that they believe some of the documents and devices seized from Cohen during an FBI raid are protected by attorney-client privilege, and they want a chance to review the items before prosecutors get to examine them.
In the hour-long court hearing, U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood said Cohen's lawyers have asked to "take the first cut at identifying documents that are relevant or not relevant to the investigation."
An attorney for the president, Joanna Hendon, appeared as well, telling the judge that Trump has "an acute interest in this matter."
Why should Cohen's lawyers get firsts??? Let the 'taint team' work their magic, pass it to the investigators then let Cohen argue the merits if they press charges.
Cohen material may include information about the bad acts of others where there is no attorney-client relationship.

The president has had trouble securing attorneys to represent him in relation to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Last month, attorney John Dowd resigned from Trump’s legal team, reportedly due to his belief that the president was no longer heeding his advice. Dowd was firmly against Trump sitting down with Mueller’s team for an interview.
If there is specific reason to believe that election was influenced by a foreign power then yes
Because you know what
That same foreign power is coming back in any future election
But so far Trump really hasn't shown any interest in trying to prevent that Wonder why???
