They can already go back if they wish. The problem comes when they apply for asylum.

Chuck is the senate minority leader. If he wants to get all Democrats to #resist as a unified bloc, he can.

I don’t know. Separating families and caging children doesn’t seem like a winning issue.

Yes. The feigned compassion for the children is hypocrisy is being displayed at the time to distract Americans from the IG report.

I don't disagree with that last statement.

House Democrats unveiled a bill yesterday to keep immigrant families together.

Every single Democrat signed on. Not a single Republican did.

Nothing will be done by this Congress because there is no will to compromise.

House Democrats Bill Would Keep Immigrant Families Together | Time

This is why Trump needs to take the initiative. Congress can't agree on anything. He can fix this with a stroke of his pen. If he doesn't, this is all on him.
I don't agree trump should 'fix this'. trump is enforcing the law as written and confirmed by the ninth circuit court.

I'm hoping McConnell brings the republican bill to the floor and the democrats can join republicans and vote to end this 'crisis' they claim to care about or be shown on CNN using the filibuster to preclude the reasonable Cruz bill from passing. let the democrats be put in the position of turning down an opportunity to keep the illegal alien families together in living color on the nightly news.

Looks like a fair solution and coming from my 2nd least liked Republican yet. Firm up the timeline issue per article and I think it should be a go. I'm a little floored, way to go Ted Cruz.

If Schumer doesn't get them into a unified bloc, 'this is all on him.' Right JAMS?

Do you think they believe most everyone is like them, that the outrage is just for show?
