When I visit New York, I generally hear at least a dozen languages spoken. Go to Chinatown or Little Italy (if you can still find it) or a deli on the Lower East Side and listen. Better yet, sit on a bench on the edge of Central Park and listen to the people walking past. New York is a polyglot. Love it or leave it.
I know. Spent a good chunk of my life there and only left due to how expensive it is. I sure as hell did not leave because people spoke Spanish.
this dude is either unstable or trying to get folks to swing on him so he can sue.
there is another story about him where he walked directly into a couple and started asking if the guy was born in America then threatened to call the cops.
You must have been asleep when he tried banning even people with valid visas. Even green card holders got detained for hours while the White House decided whether or not to ban them, too.
Trump is absolutely anti-immigrant. He does have a soft spot for mail order brides and Romanian hotel workers though.
And those were Spanish speakers? You know damned well they weren't. They were from known terrorist countries. Only banning people from known terrorist countries does not make one anti-"immigrant".

Would you like to share your thoughts about how immigrants are diluting the white population in the US? How about the multiple times that you have whined about people speaking Spanish in public places and how offensive that is to you? I can post the quotes if you like, but maybe you will be honest for once and end the stupid games.
Your claims to not be anti-immigrant or anti-Latino are pure BS and we all know it.

Trump didn't ban people from "known terrorist countries". He did it to placate his fact-averse and anti-Muslim base.
In fact not one terrorist attack in the U.S. is linked to any country under the ban, and the biggest terrorist states on earth were specifically excluded (because he has hotels and business interests in places like Saudi).
If you watch til the end of the video, the lawyer tells the woman he's yelling at that she shouldn't be eating a sandwich, presumably trying to insult her because of her weight.
Lawyer: "Maybe you should stop eating that sandwich!"
I am of the stance that after you have moved into country whose native language is not your own, get as fluent with one of those languages as soon as possible. If possible, try to learn some of that language before moving to that country. It is understandable time/money make it difficult to learn that language. However, if a person has lived in that country for several years (at least 3) and can barely speak that language, I think their priorities need to be changed a bit.
