She offered to pay for it, but the owner refused. For someone who is so vocal on this issue, it's surprising you have few of the actual details.
Sarah used a government account to address a personal issue. That's against an ethics rule or two for White House workers.
The restaurant owner made her job a personal issue. She opened Pandora's box, now we have politics as a reason to deny service causing yet more divisiveness in our society. Will we now have separate restaurants, places of work, churches, health clubs, housing developments, etc based on our political beliefs, and opinions? Should they all be obligated to post which political party in which they identify so people will know, and won't risk being thrown out?
This restaurant owner is a ***** hat wearing, far left activist that is still butt hurt over Hillary losing, and now taking it out on customers. Classy.

Judging from this restaurants recent reviews. I give it 6/ months until it closes doors. Want to play politics? Good luck . You just alienated 50% of your customers .
Sadly some people are posting to the restaurants yelp and other review places with negative reviews. I'm one to not post to a business review unless it really was that bad or good.

What was she suppose to do? An employee of the restaurant said she was kicked out, when in fact she was asked to leave and the owner verified her story. It was going to be a circus like it is now anyway. I can almost bet it will be brought up in a press conference this week.

exactly.....the gay couple could have bought any cake in the bakery from the ACTUAL MENU and decorated it themselves with their gay symbols. They weren't kicked out and never told they couldn't come back to the bakery.
if the left continues this path....we may have to protect political ideology at the workplace and public places. I hope it doesn't go that far but it's getting there.
One aspect of this whole business being ignored is that no one would really grudge Sanders if Trump would man up like every other president in history and face the press himself instead sending out his propaganda team to speak for him while he hides behind rallies full of his own supporters.
or maybe if the MSM weren't so political bias and didn't push an agenda (this has been going on before Trump)maybe a Republican President can have a better relationship with the press.

I think it's bad they kicked her out but I think the waitstaff should have been hateful, disinterested and condescending to her. Just like she is every day when she interacts with the press.
