Despite how much your mayor wants to be part of "we"....he isn't. California doesn't have any Republican Senators to vote out .

Would that be like folks from all points on the compass demanding McCain retire?
(Sorry if that's off-topic, but the comparison was too rich to go unsaid)

Well he has ambitions to run for 2020 , he thinks he’s overqualified to run the country .
Despite running L.A into the ground ..

Yes he literally said that
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/pol...idency-n840766

He also said this about Trump even before Trump won .

It seems dumb to be so divisive like that.

“Garcetti has called Trump "a racist, a bigot and a sexist," and "the walking embodiment of the worst of our values.”

There is some truth to that. After all, the left keeps crowing about Hillary winning the popular vote.

Not much change coming to the court until Justice Ginsberg retires.
I suspect that someday, someone will check to see if she's breathing and realize she's been at ambient temperature for quite a while. I don't see her lasting until 2024. So hopefully Trump get the opportunity to appoint another judge that follows the constitution instead of ignoring it and legislating from the bench.
