Wait a minute...Stop the presses...You mean it was not about adoption after all?
Quote:
President Donald Trump on Sunday denied that he is concerned that his eldest son is a target of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, insisting that his son’s actions during his presidential campaign were “totally legal.”

“This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere,” Trump said of Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting in Trump Tower with a Kremlin-linked attorney in June 2016.

Because at this point the Trump name is officially synonymous with the sword "lie".

I'm not sure why getting evidence from a foreign country against an American citizen is illegal. In fact, I'm sure the Federal government does this all the time to build cases against American citizens whose criminal footprints span countries. I'm sure the Feds worked closely with several governments to get info on Manafort's overseas bank accounts and activities.

Trump seems dumb enough to where reverse psychology would work on him...

Maybe if his White House aides told him to KEEP tweeting, Trump would respond "nobody tells me what to do!" and stopped Tweeting. LOL!

Another TERRIBLE day for Donald Trump.

I have never seen such a ****ed up thread in my life. Hillary pays millions to a spy for a fake paper full of lies then the FBI uses it to get a wire tap on trump and tries to take him down and moonbats get all excited about this. Unbelievable and serious trump derangement syndrome.

Obama lied his ass if for 8 years. He never drew an honest breath.

Actually, I don't think Trump's story about this meeting has changed in any way. As I remember this story being reported, Don Jr admitted that the original reason he took this meeting was he was told he would be receiving some sort of damning information about Hillary Clinton. However, the claim is when he actually took the meeting, the woman offered no such information, and instead was discussing this whole adoption thing. And Trump has maintained throughout that he did not know about the meeting beforehand. So while I won't say the president has never told a lie, in this instance he doesn't appear to be lying or changing his story. It's pretty much the same story that was told way back when this was news. The only thing new is him saying it's "totally legal" which of course it is.

You people know about the tactics used by the Clinton campaign against Trump, don't you? Do you honestly believe the Clinton campaign acted honorably? Do you honestly not understand that both sides engaged in less than honorable, albeit legal tactics to try to win that election? For me, one of the biggest problems is Democrats inability to admit that their side engaged in the same dirty tactics that the Republicans did to try to win that election. I'm sorry that the end result left your candidate on the losing end, but that doesn't change the fact that both parties are one and same when it comes to what they are willing to do to try and win an election. And pretending the Democrats are somehow the more "honorable" or "honest" party is absolutely disingenuous.
