Time for the Feds to get involved, arrest them on federal terrorism charges and lock them up in a dark hole. Heck, investigate them for tax evasion-the penalties are harsher than for violent crimes.
Sadly our criminal "justice" system is a damn joke. Time for old-school "vigilance patrols".
I thought the Feds were involved and searching the compound, wouldn't they automatically be involved on a terrorist plot?
Okay, because of his charges in Georgia, the father is going to remain in jail. The others are out of jail though. The media isn't reporting this story very well at all.

So maybe there after the judge and that's why they're not telling the full story.
I'm glad that they're keeping him but they should also get the others on something. Accessory to terrorist extracts using children to shoot up schools and murder child abuse.
Proof, evidence, trial by peers, you know those sticky constitutional kinds of things. I'm not saying they're innocents by any means
It's amazing how those who claim to be champions of freedom fail to realize that a defendant in front of the judge is one of the starkest examples of an individual facing the full might of the state.
Aaaand now the judge is getting death threats. Looks like there are terrorists on the other side as well.
Well, there were children involved. Even setting the terrorist aspects aside, the children were apparently abused and one was killed. Rural New Mexico is still a little wild and wooly, I can only imagine how upset the neighbors are. I'm sure it's an emotional ordeal for the citizens in that county. I would not be threatening the judge, but I would be raising hell. Immigration authorities apparently have one of the women in custody now.
The leader is the son of a guy who was believed to have been involved in the 1993 WTC bombing. He was never indicted due to lack of evidence.
The leader of this group would have been about age 14 at the time.
The children remain in state custody. The adults are being electronically monitored.
Judge said the state failed to prove this group was a danger to the community.
Then there ‘s the remains of a child which were found in or near the compound.
Reportedly, the 13 and 15 year olds said father withheld medications from his son and instead performed rituals intended to expel demons within him. They believed the boy would return as Jesus and tell them which institutions to get rid of.
You forgot to mention the other children were malnourished. In other words, starving. How could a judge rule that these people were not a danger to the children? If the body of a three year old child isn’t enough to make that determination, I don’t know what would be.
I didn’t know the kids were removed from custody. At least that’s something.

this is so wrong....
so wrong
two wrongs surely do not make a right...no way to any kind of accomplishment.....
What we need to do is speak up...not threaten....
