Some people just will never get it. They would rather be willfully ignorant. One has to wonder what their dog in this fight is. After all, they go to extremes to defend illegal aliens to the point where they're putting their fingers in their ears and saying "I can't hear you!" In other words, they have very closed minds.
They also have never seen their neighborhoods and schools destroyed by illegal aliens. Their thinking goes like this --- "It isn't happening where I live so therefore anyone who says otherwise is making it up."
But that is non-logic. If there were no illegals in the U.S., the U.S. murder rate would be higher, because we know illegals commit crime at much lower rates.

Illegals don't commit less crimes. From the moment they sneak across a border or overstay a visa, they have committed a crime (yes, for the first offense, it's a misdemeanor but a misdemeanor is still a crime). Then in order to work, they have to commit ID theft or use a fake SSN. That fake SSN sometimes belongs to a living person, who like the ID theft victim, gets put into a world of hurt. Then there are the ones who get paid under the table, which is tax evasion.

Exactly! What about Heather Heyer's murder in Charlottesville, Virginia? Why didn't Donald Trump politicize Heyer's murder? Heyer was a white female.
Perhaps when they see it in their pocketbook they will get it. Try paying thousands in property taxes for schools your own children can't even attend anymore, not to mention the thousands for the county hospitals for them to give birth in. Volunteer to give a lift to a crying widowed mom. Sit in the waiting room and not hear one word of English. Sit there and think about all the homeless citizens we could be helping. Escape to your mountain cabin, only to have an illegal burn down the forest. Or, remember your legal Hispanic bank teller who was killed by an illegal wrong way driver. I could go on and on.

Overstaying a visa is not a crime. You are deport-able but not criminal. Fact of life.
And even illegal crossing the border will virtually never be considered a crime though it could be.
There is a good body of evidence that both illegals and other immigrants commit crime at levels lower than natives. And if you replace illegals with natives the crime rate will go up. So more pretty young things will be murdered. Perhaps not Mollie but some other.
Getting paid in cash violates no law. And clearly some illegals chose to pay their taxes mostly on the basis that they may one day have the opportunity to achieve legal status.

There are what, like 11-12 million illegal immigrants in the US. How many of them do you personally know to know most of them steal SS numbers and identities?
This kind of hyperbole comes off as deflection of those who chose to employ undocumented people.
In my neck of the woods there is a huge influx of seasonal workers, mostly from Eastern Europe who arrive on tourist visas and work as subcontractors, in the trades./ construction and remodeling. They are paid cash. Most return home before their tourist visa expires, rinse and repeat. Those with the intention of remaining usually bring their families with them. Mom cleans houses and/ or does the day nanny thing for cash. Kids are enrolled in school.
Then there’s the army of landscapers mowing the grass, in season. Works out well time wise with the down time in Florida.
Cash is not traceable nor taxable. Works out well for both the employee and employer.

I don't trust any source that refers to illegal aliens as the undocumented population. Last I read visa over stayers only make up 40% of illegal aliens. Of course the wall is useless for visa over stayers, duh. The wall is intended to stop border jumpers. Is that down to zero now so we can ignore that problem?Each of those problems have to be dealt with in a different way.

Undocumented people is not the lawful term for illegal aliens so why use it? All the more reason for the wall since many of these illegals are getting paid cash to work. Better to deter them at the border than to allow them to get in here where they can work for cash among other unlawful things they do.
What about the LEGAL CITIZEN who killed his wife and children last week? We should also deport all legal residents because of him!
