Crybaby authoritarians....just like their liberal peers. Congrats cons.
I see you're starting to criticize the cons even more than the libs. I guess I'm corrupting you.

They're just so clueless.

Why people argue with cultists I can’t understand. They will never change their minds so why bother? They are living in Trumplandia. Where everything Trump does is absolutely right and no one should question it.

Ha!

Well, it all depends on the subject matter and what's going on in the news.

Don't worry, the libs will be holding a gun to a baker's head demanding a cake by the end of the week.

Authoritarians can't help but bully...just a matter of time.

And yes, I think it is a dumb idea.
It is interesting to see the "party of the working man" attack someone doing something to help the working man. Something that Democrats had called for for years. I guess Democrats are done pretending that they care about working people.

Funny, in the last week there was a post about why could we not be like Germany, well, this is the kind of things places like Germany do. And yes, conservatives are for free trade, but a deal where we go zero tarriff with a trading partner who slapps a tarriff on us is not free trade.

I was exporting a product when NAFTA passed. I was all excited that my Canadian clients would supposedly no longer pay a tarriff when buying my goods. You can imagine my disgust when NAFTA actually provided for Canada doubling the tarriff on my goods while Canadians could ship the same products here tarriff free. That is NOT free trade.

Exactly what I was thinking. Please please let Trump do this.

Lose mind when asked to explain why buying an American built Tesla vs a German Built Mercedes is bad.
You really don't have a clue do you?

I'm not a Democrat. And I believe in helping the working man, very much so. But tariffs are not a great way to do it. They are rather disastrous in most cases, economically, especially if you look beyond the industry they're aiming to help.

A better strategy is to actually invest in the retraining and repurposing of our workforce.
