Most of Trump's quarrels haven't been with 3rd world leaders. They've been with our allies in Europe, and with Canada. -_-
One leader of a "3rd world ****holes with a GDP lower than the state of Delaware" was specifically called out in Trump's speech - Kim Jong Un. He was praised for his "courage".
ELORocks and the other Trump fanbois operate at a 90 degree angle to reality.
This is a lie, as I have pointed out (proving you did not watch his speech), but why do you say he had "no business claiming" his accomplishments? Nobody else has created the booming economy we now enjoy. These things have happend as a result of Trump's policies.
The current economic expansion began in June 2009. The last 2 years are a part of this expansion. One might say the boom is continuing despite the current resident of the White House.
You remember incorrectly. Both Germany and France had sizable troop contingents in Afghanistan, for years.
You may want to read up, because what you remember really doesn't match what happened.
I know it's bad form to quote one's own posts, but I might add that I lived in Germany at the time, and I don't think a lot of people understand what a colossal thing it was for Germany to send troops far away. They had a very harsh lesson on that, and it really did not come easy to them to overcome that.
What I remember of it, without doing any research was Germany and France saying, no. I don't recall any country having had a positive response to his call out.

You don't remember Spain was subjected to a large terrorist attack on one of their trains because they did assist in the war?

Of course it's to be expected in these times of Trump and his lies that remembering anything good about Canada is verboten!

May be so, but doing it made this post so much easier for me. ty ... after having done more research I found that I will stand by my op. on --- you could hear a pin drop. I remember the news segment about his placing the phone call to the leaders ... and their initial response was a no go on support through military support.
Link one: THE UNITED STATES AND THE GLOBAL COALITION AGAINST TERRORISM, SEPTEMBER 2001-DECEMBER 2003
"September 12, 2001: President Bush met with his national security advisers and with leading members of Congress. He also telephoned the leaders of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, China, and Russia as the first steps toward building an international coalition against terrorism. He called the attacks "acts of war" and announced that he would ask Congress for additional funds to protect the nation’s security."
u.s. and Britain Strike Afaganistan 10-08-01 article so I know they answered the call.
found and article on Russia that they went yes we will, not we won't in their strategic maneuvering throughout all of this.
And: AFTER THE ATTACKS: THE ALLIANCE; For First Time, NATO Invokes Joint Defense Pact With U.S.
"But some European leaders also urged caution. The Swedish and German foreign minister, Anna Lindh and Joschka Fischer, both suggested that it was too early to talk of military action when so little was known about the origins of the attacks."
_______________
It's off topic so I can not post more, but found Bush's speech from 2002 were he did not talk about the objections from other leaders about the war and more. So if any one starts a thread on this and I come across it, I'm ready for it. Also I found where we made new allies ... or at least where Bush made new allies ...
One of the places I went was (this said in keeping with thread op) archive.org. It is difficult to find a specific something, but I did listen to a couple of the speeches given by Bush ... and I thought of Trump and how he might sound if he were put in the same position ... not a good thought for obvious reasons and then some.
