Did you watch the news article? The other patrols in London, Australia and France have been crossing the line into moral policing, while calling them offensive names like ****, whores, etc, saying this is a Muslim neighborhood, we don't allow that. The question is, how far will America let this go? We don't have a good track record for stopping moral policing.

I could not care less about London, Australia or France. I don't know the laws in those countries, and I leave it to their legal systems to deal with these issues. They are not acting as morality patrols in the United States. They aren't enforcing religious dicta. There is not a single credible claim that they have done so.

Similar incidents have been reported over the years, in some communities patrolled by ultra orthodox in Brooklyn.

Take a look at what’s going on in Lakeland! NJ as the dominate culture seeks to impose their values.

No shortage of stories about when ultra orthodox become the majority in condos/ HOAs, the rules start changing. The community owned pools and playgrounds become gender segregated. Recreational facilities close on Saturday. .......The 33% of owners, not into the ultra orthodox thing are , SOL.

Or is it just a block watch? On steroids? lol

Is it like Sherrif Joe's posse who helped round up illegals?

The news story paints a picture that is unfavorable. They say most residents aren't happy about it, including Muslim residents. They say they have the same patrols in Europe and that they've harrassed drinkers, women with short skirts, gays and tell this to leave because this is a Muslim neighborhood while calling them offensive names. Can they really do this legally? Doesn't seem like a good idea. Muslims don't even want it. I'm amazed we allow it but then again , we allow posses and Orthodox Jewish courts.

Christian courts had wide powers during the middle- ages.

The Roman Catholic cannon laws and tribunals handle a variety of cases, mostly involving marriage between Catholics and annul 15,000-20,000 marriages a year. I worked with someone whose parents managed to have their marriage annulled, despite having 5 adult children and grandchildren. This was in addition to a civil divorce. It allowed both to remarry within the church.

Jewish courts are used by ultra orthodox for divorce and other disputes between Jews. Same deal in Islam.

It’s in addition to, not instead of civil court.

Social consequences are common for those who chose to resolve differences independent of religions courts.

When the Jewish court is in violation of civil court, civil court takes precedence.

Example: When I was in high school, one of the boys on the football team never woke up one one morning. Sad beyond words. The family was Jewish and did not want an autopsy - which is against Jewish law - but civil law requires it when someone dies under questionable circumstances. They had an emergency ruling, and the civil law took precedence. The autopsy was conducted.

(It was his heart.)

I get that but they want to get married again and are Jewish. They become a hostage for demands from the husband to get a religious divorce so that they can still practice their religion and live among friends and family. It's in the article I linked. I know they could remove themselves from their community and religion and call it a day in civil court, and I would for sure but people feel tied to their communities. It can get pretty ugly.

This is why these Muslim police forces could if they abused it, cause a lot of misery in their community. The other ones around the world aren't doing that great at staying away from religious morality issues. I guess we'll see. NYC has some little countries within their city for sure. It can be hard for people to escape them alone.

I do recall a handful of Muslims trying to patrol around their Mosque in the East End of London in 2013, althugh it didn't last long, as they approached a gay couple holding hangs and appriached them, which was a big mistake on their part.

At their trial at the Old Bailey, they were convicted of using threatening words and behaviour, harrassment and affray, the three men recived senteces of 17 months, 12 months and 6 months in prison and now have ciminal records.

Jordan Horner, who uses the Islamic name Jamaal Uddin, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault and two charges of using threatening words and behaviour, and was sentenced to 17 months imprisonment. Thirty-six-year-old Ricardo MacFarlane who pleaded not guilty, was sentenced to one year for affray and two years for using threatening words and behaviour.

Royal Barnes aged 23, who was already awaiting a further trial regarding offensive youtube videos and therefore could not be named at the time, pleaded guilty and received a six-month sentence for affray.

In February 2014 Horner, McFarlane and Barnes were given anti-social behaviour orders (ASBO) barring them from the activities that led to their convictions.

ASBOs were superseded by the Injunction and the Criminal Behaviour Order which were introduced by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

For adults over 18 the order will last a minimum of 2 years and can last indefinitely (for the rest of your life). Failure to comply is a criminal offence and as such can result in up to 5 years improsonment.

I haven't heard anything since, as complaints of harassment and public order offences are taken very seriously in the UK.

Quran:

"Let us smile to the face of some people while our hearts curse them."

"not to make friendship with Jews and Christians” (5:51), “kill the disbelievers wherever we find them” (2:191), “murder them and treat them harshly” (9:123), “fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem”

And then get a prison sentence and a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) stating that if you ever approach anyone else or harasss anyone ever gain that you go back to prison for a long time.

As for the Quran it's a load of total nonsense.

Nah, they are terrorists and sharia has no place in this country or anywhere in fact. If they want to
Practice hate let’s send them back to their own country.
