Perhaps that's because Obama told them they couldn't all have big houses with air conditioning .

Then I guess no one should have health care...that way the population will naturally reduce...RIGHT?

For the record, I'm fine with Cortez and anyone who thinks like Cortez, to refrain from reproducing. I just wish her parents would had gotten ahead of all this.

Was their reasoning because the world is going to basically end in twelve years? I remember growing up thinking the world was going to end from nuclear war and not wanting to have children, and my mom told me every generation thinks the world is going to end in their lifetime. It really brought me back down to earth because it’s true. They’ve been making outrageous predictions about climate disaster since the ‘70s. We should be seeing mass famines and no snow and coastal cities under water by now...if their computer model predictions ever panned out. Instead we have countries developing and more people being brought out of poverty and starvation than at any point in history. The only people who are starving are under policies people like AOC want to bring here.

I think they’re scared, Katy, and I remember the feeling well. I had two young children and was heavily pregnant with my third when the September 11th attacks happened. That was a terrifying time, and had I not already had children, I might have decided against becoming a parent too. Climate change or not, my kids’ reasons are their reasons, and I will respect their choices.
