It would just be another red state blue state divide. The blue states would allow abortion, the red would not, and so on.

It is a medical procedure and will not be banned in America.

What you are seeing is the reaction to the approval of late term abortion.

Pendulum swinging now. Over reaction on both sides causes the problem.

the claim that an abortion is up to the woman is invalidated as she entered into a partnership with a man and the while it is her body, it is his and her baby.

About time men and women took personal responsibility and stopped blaming each other.

Men don't carry the baby, so they don't really get a say. (And I am a man saying this, just to show I'm not biased). Also, no one who didn't intend to get pregnant should be forced to have the baby

Sort of like how the states either went pro or anti slavery in the 1800's.

What good will it do to make tubal ligations cheaper when doctors won't preform them unless a woman is at least 30 years old with a couple of kids already?

If the government wants to ban abortions it should make sterilization on demand at the age of 18 the law of the land.

Yep. A friend of mine wants her ovaries removed due to constantly reoccurring cysts that medication has not touched. She was told no since she is 24 and has no kids. She doesn't want kids, and has been told that the scarring from the cysts has made her more or less infertile anyways. But still the doctor will not remove her ovaries because she might change her mind.

They are writing these State laws in order to pick a fight in Supreme court, and I think they should just let it get banned. It would be one wedge issue less to bicker about.
We should also just let guns be banned and confiscated so we can concentrate on immigration, the economy, the environment and healthcare.

When men start dying from childbirth they can have a say.
