I missed the Stephanopoulos interview, but saw a few later snippets. At one point GS asks Trump directly about polls that show Trump doing very poorly. These were Trump's own internal polls, but they are widely known. But Trump brazenly said, "Those polls don't exist!" Which is bizarre.
He could have said "It's too early to treat those seriously" or "They are wrong because the sampling was too small" or any other number of excuses. But he chose to blatantly lie. Does he just think his fans will forever ignore reality?
By the way, why was GS standing while Trump was at his desk? That looked so peculiar. Do you think Trump likes to force people to stand because he imagines himself to be king?
All polls are accurate. But some don't count.
Today, likely voters gave Trump a 51% approval and 47% disapproval.
If 47% is all the disapproval NeverTrumpers can muster up, then they are going to fail miserably.
He's never been of this world. He was spouting how successful his Casinos were when they went broke. He spouted the the Central Park Five were guilty back in the daze. He spouted about Obama not being born here.
I mean....he has absolutely no connection to reality.
When you think about it, here is a person who seems to have two basic choices.....
1. Leave the office at the end of his term....certainly a smart thing to do normally. But, if he does so, chances are he'll be indicted and tried and probably convicted of various things. So he can't do that.
2. Try to retain the office so he can continue to have immunity.....in which case he basically dies in office or relatively soon afterwards (given his DNA and size, diet, age, etc.). If the other party continues to dominate the House, there would probably be endless investigations and probably impeachment hearings.
There is no choice #3. He can't go build Habitat for Humanity houses or relax or do "normal" things.
In effect, he's a caged beast. There is no happy ending except for his passing before he pays the price for many of his actions.
That's my guess anyway...looking at the obvious. Sad, actually...not for him (he certainly doesn't deserve good things after his life), but for the country and the world.
One word describes Trump... Traitor. He willingly will deal with the scums of the earth and take their disinformation, lies or whatever in order to smear others and try to win. It’s not surprising but also not normal. A true patriot would go to the FBI or proper authorities. It ain’t that hard.

This is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard. It would be political malpractice not to accept dirt on your opponent, candidates spending hundreds of millions on oppo research. Hillary Clinton goes around the world selling access you think if one of her dictator buddies offered her dirt on Trump she would have declined and alerted the FBI? You think Joe Biden is going to alert Trumps FBI if some dictator tells him a rumor about Trump? Not a chance in hell. Clinton was paying people to go around to foreign governments and gather dirt.

LOL....it just goes on and on, always in his head and focused upon how he appears, denying and fighting back...while we have no one truly leading the country.

Biden, Hillary and even GOP politicians like Graham and Romney know it's NOT OK to seek or accept dirt from foreign people or gov't. It's illegal, it's treasonous! If Hillary had done that, there would have been investigations into her. And why is it that an investigation didn't happen despite the GOP controlling all 3 branches of the gov't for the past 2 years?!? Huh? FAKE NEWS!
The real questions are:
- Are YOU trying to normalize treasonous acts?
- What banana republic do you come from?
- Are you aware that Trump just admitted that he would be open to "colluding" with a foreign power to win the presidency again? THAT was the whole point of the Mueller investigation!
