The media and their lemmings simply won't stand for having an honest, real person in the White House. Their perverse viewpoint is that everyone, especially a President, knows that you're supposed to lie like they all would in response to that question. How dare Trump break stride with that tradition?

They'd all listen....and they'd all use it, as they did, for any treasonous purpose they deemed advantageous to whatever high crimes they were plotting. They'd all listen....and then they'd all lie.

Trump is the first President that anyone alive today has seen who can truly be trusted. Especially when it comes to the interests of the United States as seen and measured by average Americans.

Okay -- let's have some fun with this.

Trump says in the interview that he wants us to see his financial statements -- we will be so impressed.

So why doesn't he just show us his financial statements.

How can we trust what he says on this?

oh and remember the one where he denied every knowing anything about Stormy Daniel....and then oops he lied.......So trustworthy.

So trustworthy he sleeps with a porn star with his beautiful wife and new born at home, pays off the porn star not to reveal the truth and then lies when the truth comes out.

I find it interesting that the poll question uses the phrase "foreign adversaries". Does that mean the OP would not care if such info came from a foreign ally?

I wish we had a window into a parallel universe where Trump supporters could see themselves and their own reactions if Obama or Biden were to have said exactly what Trump said about accepting dirt from a foreign nation to help them win an election

The hypocrisy from Trump supporters is unprecedented.

Besides Nixon, trump is the only president and commander in chief that I have not trusted. I don't trust him with the white house silverware, let alone crucial matters of government.

Who do you consider "average," Americans?

Would any sane person leave Trump alone with their beautiful daughter or wife? Lol. Who’s going to answer this in the affirmative?

You know it is customary for campaigns to keep supporters energized. But this thread, and in a few others on this forum, the angry urgency to spin and deflect from the appalling actions of our president, and to apologize for and defend Trump has reached an almost palpable level of absurdity.

The extraordinary lengths to create the illusion that he is winning everywhere and has absolute dominance over his foes is looking a bit like fear and vulnerability. I guess that is why we are seeing all manner of senselessness. Such as saying the Mueller Report doesn't tell us about despicable Trump and his actions. And that the President of the United States did not admit that he would again take a foreign government's dirt on an opponent in order to influence the outcome of an election and to interfere in our democracy, despite his saying so on national television for all who watched to see and hear!

Read the report. On this topic the report laid bare that Mr. Trump was elected with the help of a foreign power; it cataloged numerous meetings between Mr. Trump’s advisers and Russians seeking to influence the campaign and the presidential transition team; it listed encounters set up in pursuit of business deals, policy initiatives and political dirt about Hillary Clinton. The special counsel stated the Trump campaign welcomed the Kremlin sabotage effort and “expected it would benefit electorally” from the hacks and leaks of Democratic emails. Then Mr. Trump goes on a rant on TV and admits that he sees nothing wrong with it and he'd do it again.

No wonder so many Trumpers are going insane with their non-stop falsifications of reality!
