It will either get worked out or we will collapse and have to rebuild. We survived our civil war, the 60's and many other divides, I try to keep an optimistic view. We should be willing to learn from our mistakes to make change not dig in deeper.

Education, I think we should add a associates degree to our k-12 program. You can pay for a 2 year college or go to a community collage for two years as part of a k-12 program. It will help get the next generation out of the bubble they live in to experience something new on their own. How did the millennial's become so in your face rude. I see it in hospitals, police and in our government at all these hearings.
Immigration, no one want's to work or compete for a job with someone that doesn't speak English or doesn't have the working skill or professionalism. Knowing they are skirting the system while you are supposed to obey the law.
A presidency that would build on the previous presidency rather than try to discredit it.

I can see us get to a point where the left always controls the House and the Presidency, and the right always controls the Senate. Remember, every state gets two Senators no matter their population, and I believe rural states will get increasingly frustrated and the Senate will go farther to the right.
So what will happen when the Senate constantly blocks the liberal House and liberal Presidents from getting everything they want year after year?
