Spoken as a true fascist. America needs the 2nd Amendment at this time, mostly to protect liberty from liberals who would love nothing more than to remove many of the individual rights we have guaranteed by the Constitution and backed up by the 2nd Amendment.
America defended itself from the British twice due to firearms. America kept the Union intact due to firearms.
The Vietnamese defeated the most powerful military in the world due to small arms.
Slaves overthrew the French in Haiti due to the use of firearms.
Mexico expelled the French due to firearms.
The French overthrew the Bourbon kings with firearms.
Partisans resisted the Germans with firearms.
How did all the victims of genocide fare without weapons? Whenever I read these fascist posts by liberals, I am reminded of how important the 2nd Amendment is today.
You think your gun is any match against the technology of weaponry available today should any oppressive government in a paranoid person's mind want to "take over?"

Put guns in the hands of some of them and you get Gilroy and El Paso. We don't which ones are real killers and which ones are just keyboard killers. So nobody gets a gun unless they can show they can be trusted with one (including review of their internet use).

A well-regulated militia may or may not have been required by a free people, but we don't have any of those and have not had for decades if not centuries. Arguably, we are still a free people. Instead, we have thousands of mentally ill people and murderers with a message running around killing innocent people with military grade weapons. The second amendment has no legitimate purpose in society now if it ever did. Repeal it!

I'm not a gun grabber. I bet I have more guns than you do. I'd like to keep them. My objection is an amendment to the constitution that, upon (mis)interpretation, provides no means for regulating who possesses what type of firearm. Repeal it to clear the confusion and go to a permissive system of gun ownership where responsible persons can own and possess guns. I am certain that I would have no problem passing any test of responsibility that would be put up and I would sleep better at night knowing that you, too, had passed those screenings.

Criminals and the black market make any "test" pretty much useless. I'm not saying we shouldn't have NICS but I'm also not stupid. Criminals don't care.

You are blind... every single thing I posted is backed up by their actions and their words.. every single word.. many have connected the dots.. we get it..
They want a totalitarian news media.. the MSM, the Internet, the DEEP STATE, all the pieces of the puzzle fits together.. this will come slowly through osmosis, to transition so the people will lose their rights slowly, and the take over chipping away at the Constitution, chipping away of our forefathers, chipping away at our history, chipping away at our symbols of freedom, chipping away at patriotism, chipping away at our citizens rights. They are now chipping away at our rights to bear arms.
Do you actually believe that Americans rights today are being supported or trampled? We have congressmen and senators who fight for the rights of non citizens, they fight for the rights of people of other countries.. they have decimated our cities with urban blight shipping jobs to any other country.
