They don't have clearances, per se, but I agree that they should lose all access to classified material above, say, FOUO, for a period of time at least.
Yeah, I am learning today that they are granted equivalents of clearance, so to speak, simply by virtue of being elected. Didn't realize. Maybe that needs to be changed somehow.
There needs to be some sort of consequences. My husband would lose his clearance and probably have more consequences if he simply forgot he had his phone on him in a SCIF.

Yep, I know at least one person who got fired for forgetting their cell phone in their pocket. He got a warning the first time 2nd time he was out. What Gaetz and crew did here is FAR more flagrant an offence than simply absentmindedly forgetting to take your phone out of your pocket before you enter.
There are both Dems and Reps in these hearings. Those who stormed the hearings are a bunch of snowflakes trying to make their little commander in chief feel better.
This is correct. Those storming the secure room met with Trump the prior day. It was a pre-planned stunt.
This is pure comedy. SNL can have fun with this one. Wonder who will play Matt Gaetz.

Imagine what would happen to your husband if he set up a covert server in your basement bathroom and started sending classified information on it and doing the work of the federal government!
Hopefully he's a Democrat like you. That way, he wouldn't get prosecuted.

I sincerely believe that some posters’ last words on their deathbeds will be “butter emails...”

Um, not a Democrat. Not liberal. Also not ignoring the fact that there are Republicans in these meetings that are allowed because they are on the related committees.

And the left's might be "But Russia Russia Russia" or "racist racist racist" or any of the other tall tales the DNC has been peddling for the last three years.
Most likely they'll be moaning "Orange Man Bad" at the end while caressing their Obama lockets.
So explain why you believe Trump. Never mind, don't explain it. Trump supporters are hoeplessly naive. Despite the fact that the man is the biggest liar we've ever had as president, supporters believe him over anyone else. Fool you once. . .
He even uses slogans reminiscent those used by third world dictators.
