of course Trump is not at fault. What foreign parent in their right mind would allow their kids to enroll in SJW university?

How in the hell do you think incidents like Evergreen college, Berkley riots and destruction get reported overseas? What do you think they're reaction to crap like this does?

Are you one of the ones complaining about housing prices all the time and the lack of affordability?

What in the hell do you think drives up prices?

Just admit it, your dislike of Trump drives every opinion you have despite the subject. if the opposite was happening, in that Trump's policies were allowing a flood of foreign investors into real estate, thus driving up housing prices, you would be here complaining about that.

You are incapable of discussing policy only, for you, it is all about the person behind it. Trump could personally discover the cure for cancer, offer it for free, and you would find fault somehow.

It will be affordable, but what about the scores? Will Harvard or Stanford admit students because they ahve a lot of seats available??

By your logic, since there are no takers for a 1 mn home, will they sell it for 250k??

If the crop of college grads we've been gifted with over the past decade or so are the standard by which the rest of the world views our educational institutions, it's no wonder they'd prefer to go to college somewhere else. Colleges in the US today are more like insane asylums than universities.

Actually, that happens all the time. It's called "supply and demand". Demand goes up, while supplies are limited, cost increases. Large supply, low demand = cost decreases. Using your example, if there are more homes on the market in a certain area than there is demand for these homes, you are more likely to catch a good deal on a reduced cost home. On the flip side, if you find yourself in a high demand area where supply is limited, you can count on costs staying high. Now, of course your example was a bit "over the top". You decided to go straight for a 75% drop in price on that theoretical home that's up for sale. But it would not be a bit unusual for a home to have it's price reduced, perhaps as much much as 10% or more, in order to attract a buyer. Especially if the home has been on the market for an extended amount of time.

Supply and demand.

Well, they do. However, they will consider the politics of a host country in terms of

1) how easy or difficult it is to obtain a student visa
2) how welcoming the host country is to citizens from their country

China's "Thousand Talents Plan":

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified in 2018 to the Senate that China had turned to “nontraditional collectors, especially in the academic setting, whether it’s professors, scientists, students” and was exploiting “naiveté on the part of the academic sector.”

Thinking that all homeless people are harmless street urchins who need hugs is exactly what I thought some liberal moron would believe.

Canada, Australia, UK are some of the countries. Less onerous in terms of getting student visas.
If Canada, Australia, and the UK want their universities (and office parks) overrun by Chinese & Indians, that's on them.

I'm glad there's less of them coming here. They're not needed or wanted.
