Nope! There have been several employers caught and held accountable under Trump. It has always been the GOP that has introduced e-verify bills but the Dems won't pass it unless there is a massive amnesty attached to it.

The illegal aliens are just as guilty as those who hire them. No one forces them over the border to work here and they know full well they are breaking the law by doing so.

The fact that we have Sanctuary cities is a result of the Federal Government not enforcing immigration policy which is a Federal construct.
You are always going to have people who view illegals as "humans" instead of "criminals" as many here like to label them.
There is plenty of blame to go around on both sides.

A fascist is a follower of a political philosophy characterized by authoritarian views and a strong central government — and no tolerance for opposing opinions. Fascist traces to the Italian word fascio, meaning "group, bundle." Under fascist rule, the emphasis is on the group — the nation — with few individual rights.

The Dems didn't secure the border as they promised and even today they won't fund the wall to help deter illegal entry, don't want internal enforcement but instead protection for illegal aliens in sanctuary cities and another failed amnesty.

I opposed that amnesty that Reagan passed, by the way.

If you fined and jailed every Employer who hires illegals the market for them would dry up.
Exactly! Mandatory E-Verify would be a good start.

its as old as history itself..blaming "the other" and immigrants for problems..the democrats understand this and the republican use the fear of "the other"....the practicality comes when trying to implement a good plan and dealing with ALL the name calling

Lightbulb Do Democrats realize that their party jumped the shark by supporting illegal immigration?

What in the world causes them to be compassionate about people who broke laws and came into the United States illegally? This is essentially saying that the United States doesn't have a right to its own sovereignty. It is the death knell for our nation.

You have a big problem.

You gotta prove this big bold talk of yours; that Dems "support illegal immigration."

Because it's corporate America that loves having these illegals here, holding down pay and benefits for the US workforce.

Fer Pete's sake, Dreamer, your prez hires illegals by the dozens.

The Pub hypocrisy meter is broken.

100% Agree. Illegals and their employers both need to pay a high price for their actions.

It's an old video but I remember watching it at the time and being shocked at her words. Pelosi calling illegals patriots:

As a someone who’s registered as a Democrat but is actually a centrist, I wouldn’t say I support illegal immigration. That being said, I do think people are very selective on which segment of the illegal alien population they want to go after. The majority of illegal aliens (those who come and never attempt to attain any proper paperwork) coming from Central America are not living that well. They often endure many of the same problems that they were fleeing (gangs, diseases, etc).

The amount of illegal aliens from Asian is not as large as the Latin American population but it is growing. Currently the percentage of illegal Chinese and Korean aliens is estimated at 25%. Obviously not the majority but pretty significant. Seeing how Asian immigrants (legal or not) employ their own at their businesses, you have to know that some of the employees do not have proper paperwork.

My thing is, if you going to be against illegal immigration, then be against it. Don’t give one group sympathy without giving the same sympathy to another group.
