Another irony here is the complaints that the Mueller investigation took too long, & the impeachment proceedings were rushed through.

Yet, the mueller report has ZERO to do with the impeachment...

And why did nancy not deliver the articles, if impeachment must begin immediately and because of national security.... nahhhh, the heck with that...lets take Christmas break....

Impeach began. Trump was impeached.

Why would there be a rush to get it to the Senate when Republican Senators have indicated that they will:

1. Refuse to read the evidence
2. Work hand-in-hand with Trump's lawyer
3. not be impartial at all.

It will be interesting when they all have to take the oath for impartiality, etc!

Guess Lindsay will have to raise his right hand and promptly lie under oath.

This Law & Order Law School legal expert knows that Judges can overthrow indictments made by grand juries and overturn guilty verdicts after a trial by jury. That one partisan party said bad, and the other said big deal is now the new normal. A page in a history book that the class will never get to. Because if it along with the President Clinton impeachment are is covered it nurfs the impeachment of President Johnson.

Still had zero to do with the mueller report....zero...

Why, because it was because of national security...maybe you forgot that part?

It's the senate, who owns the senate....remember, elections have consequences....

Funny you talk about lying, there were at least 2 house dems who did not care about any evidence, yet they still got to vote in the impeachment.....if this was regular court....would they be on the jury?

Be honest with your answer....

McConnell is complicit, he is a co-conspirator in Trump's obstruction of justice. The Senate sham trial is a massive cover-up.

Let's get all of the evidence, all of the testimony, out on the table. Don't hide it from the Senators, and don't hide it from We the People. Where's the transparency?

You can’t be serious? Do you consider the sham that happened in theHouse to be transparency? GOP witness denied and absolutely ZERO first hand witness to supposed crimes and yet democrats vote to impeach. How would you like it if you were convicted based on hearsay?

The House already called witnesses that they claimed proved beyond the shadow of a doubt the crimes that they accused the president of committing. What else does the Senate need to consider? They have all the information they need to vote.

Why can't we the voters hear from Bolton, Mulvaney, Pompeo? THEY WORK FOR US THE AMERICAN CITIZEN.

Why do you want us not too?

Trump wants the Whistleblower to testify but Trump won't testify.

LOL

So did this expert have any criticism of the Democrat controlled House with their kabuki theater and obvious bias against Trump?

Would you have started a thread highlighting it?

We know the answer to both questions, so there is no need for you to answer.

Are you saying guilty until proven innocent? That's sure what it seems like....

Then we find out ~ Pompeo knew all along and was up to his neck in it.

If there isn't enough evidence for the Republicons in the Senate - then of course they should hear from witnesses with direct involvement. They heard witnesses in the Clinton impeachment - via depositions, etc.

But Trump won't allow ANY of his witnesses to testify. Why is that do you think?
Mick Mulvaney answered that question when he said, "Get over it".

We the people need to 'get over it' i.e. get over the fact that this IM-POTUS is attempting to create new powers for the presidency to commandeer the legal systems of foreign countries for his own personal benefit.

This is similar to his various & multiple attempts to use the office of the presidency to leverage his own personal profits.

It's kindof crazy, but is out in the open, blantant crazy, like here:

Quote:
McGahn testified that the president had asked him to “do crazy ****,” like directing him in June to have Mueller removed. Trump, he said, ordered him to tell then-acting attorney general Rod J. Rosenstein not only that there was a conflict, but also that “Mueller has to go.”
Trump asked his lawyer to cross legal lines. The Mueller report shows how he pushed back.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...e-pushed-back/

Sheeesh, no wonder he doesn't want any of his own guys to testify, he's afraid they'll tell the truth.
