Sure, it will be forever known the DNC used impeachment as a political weapon to try an unseat a duly elected official.

It's like if a cop framed and arrested a person. Sure, it will always be true they were arrested, but when it was done not for justice but for unjust reasons...

How is it you believe he will win a second term? Only if you believe the polls are ALL wrong and have been wrong for a long time. This isn't a close race at all right now. Biden has a huge edge.

Since your side is going to have to convince some of those supporters to join your side if you want any chance of winning in 2020, its laughable you pretend to be of higher intellect.
This is just how ****ed up and uncivil the left is becoming. You cannot simply accept that others have views that differ from yours. If they have had enough of runaway illegal immgration and China stealing our patents and other intellectual properties, you think you can marginalize them by just labelling them as brainless.
Safe to say 2020 will be a landslide with these tactics.

What is unjust about the reasons? That you don't like democrats so it's okay for the president to be corrupt?

Because they have such a great track record.
LOL, Biden. 10 months of more potential pedophile lap sitting leg hair stroking memes. This should be good.

The process for asserting and dealing with executive privilege is outlined in US v. Nixon and Oversight Comm. v. Holder: When subpoenaed, the Executive responds to the subpoenas and asserts privilege over specifically identified documents or testimony and explains the basis for the claim of privilege. That assertion can then be challenged in Court.

Here, Trump just had the Executive ignore the subpoenas. He did not assert privilege and her certainly did not meet the requirements for properly asserting privilege as set forth in Nixon and Holder.
No - Executive privilege was invoked - just one example when Defense Secretary Esper was asked https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/tru...quiry-n1067226

Quote:
House Democrats sent a subpoena to Esper on Oct. 7, giving him until Tuesday to comply. The House has warned that failure to do so would be evidence of obstruction of justice.

In the letter sent Tuesday, the Department of Defense pushed back on the notion that failure to comply would constitute obstruction of justice. “Invoking reasonable legal defense to a subpoena, including invoking legal privileges that are held by the President, in no way manifests evidence of obstruction of otherwise warrants an adverse inference,” the letter reads.
The house has had over 3 months since this time - they could have requested Judicial (Courts) to rule which would have been expedited - those could have determined if congress could compel but they were afraid of the answer.

Also the examples cited do NOT show clear rulings that would apply here - this issue is about foreign policy which was specifically EXCLUDED in those rulings.

I love how overconfident trump supporters are. It will make trump’s loss even sweeter.

Oh, believe me, we know ! We know your side doesn't care about truth, ethics, honesty, respect for the Constitution, and all of the things that made America special. But I have to give you credit for your honest answer.
