We are talking today 3/27/2020. Are there people saying this today. You are repeating was was said week ago. What is the point of that. They were wrong. No one is saying that now.

Of course it was obvious that the USA would have the most cases. We do not have the highest infection rate or death rate. And we may never have that. We have a much bigger population than any of the European countries. The fact that we have a slight lead or Italy but have 5.5 times the population tells you their infection rate is 5 times as high. The death rate is even higher.

Those facts do not make me a skeptic. I am just not going to run around and yell the sky is falling when it is not.
Hearing the US has more positive cases than Italy is as misleading as hearing the US has done more testing than South Korea.

I have heard we have done more testing than Monaco and we have more positive cases, wonder why? Also totally meaningless and misleading.

I am.

People are dead because of his terrible response. YMMV

Ducey is masking but not the numbers. A lot of the numbers are from private labs. That said, what Ducey is masking, is how serious this will get in Arizona. Arizona is a time bomb.

The state has put orders into place. Individual cities or counties can further lock things down if they want. Things will get worse but we are spread out. We are not going to be like New York or Italy.

How would anyone know? Arizona has the lowest per capita testing in the US. Probably paywalled but here is your link:

Johannesburg (AFP) - South Africa came under a nationwide military-patrolled lockdown on Friday, joining other African countries imposing strict curfews and shutdowns in an attempt to halt the spread of the coronavirus across the continent.

Some 57 million people are to be restricted to their homes during South Africa's three-week total lockdown which began at midnight.

Kenya, Rwanda and Mali are some of the African countries that have imposed restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus, which has been confirmed to have infected 3,203 people and killed 87.
