Dramatic much?

So you've got plenty of time of your hands and should already be smart enough to know this isn't some global catastrophe in other words.

Fear is a powerful motivator.

The correct answer was 1 out of every 12,500 that have it, and are otherwise healthy, will die from it.

But enter fear into the equation, and we are all 100% sure that the 1 who dies, could be us.

The flaw is just in that we have so little data, which is a condemnation of our testing and follow up methods.

You cannot just ignore the cases that have not resolved, that is why it is silly. As most of the unresolved cases will survive, death/(death +recovered) will steadily decline.

It would be great if we could be sure that the one who dies will not be us, or someone we love, wouldn't it?

This pandemic was close to that, but panning out more favorable in most areas. We should all hope that the worst is behind us. But we can't yet know that.

I assume you don’t drive a car or allow your loved ones to do so, either. Because tens of thousands will die in car crashes every year.

This strain. What about the next one? Generally these viruses come on even stronger the next time around. And this one probably wont end for 6 months to a year

My Dad had a preexisting condition at the age of 45. He lived to 81. My niece is, with the exception of asthma, a healthy 28 year old. I was born with a heart murmur. Hasn’t effected me in 62 years but it is a preexisting condition.

Amazing writing off anyone who has a preexisting condition.

It’s not contagious. Hundreds of thousands would die from this virus without social distancing. The only problem with social distancing is it works. It’s critics will point at lower death tolls and ask why it was needed.

Wby do we need a massive military when no invasion of any significance has occurred in over 200 years?
