It's well-known, well documented fact. Your comically absurd denial attempt notwithstanding.

So far, so good :-) I was a little nervous. There is nothing routine in rocketry.

Absolutely right. I feel the same way. As a child and teenager I feel fortunate to have been a witness to the beginnings of space exploration and to have been alive during this unique period in human history.

That one had me holding my breath, I'm used to seeing the shuttle accelerate a bit more quickly from the start and I remember the early days of our space program This one seems to have aced everything and the return of the first stage to the ship is good stuff!

So I'm confused. The big claim to fame of this launch is that it is the first private launch...but is it?

How much of it is financed with our tax money and how much is financed by Musk?

Launch is harmless and seems to be getting some folks very excited. MEH......We are celebrating sending people to the space station --- not like the technology hasn't been here. I know -- jaded.

Not sure the purpose of going to space but it seems to make some people happy.

Musk's dream is to make humans interplanetary. A single planetary species is doomed to extinction...
