Le proof ? I have 5 friends all nurses- all in the Virus tents... the virus besides wrecking your lungs, it also destroys your heart and produces major seizures maybe from the fevers- but in any case- only Covid patients go to that area of the hospital. they are dying there.
That's what could happen in the most extreme of the cases. Most people will have mild or no symptoms at all.
I love how the 20% who insist on ending the shutdown to end immediately are so overrepresented here.

Federal and state Govts have been able to stave off majority of the social unrest so far. As long as they are throwing out money at the public, I think they will maintain control...but this is only temporary, throwing money at the public is an act of desperation, Govts are hanging on by a thread and they know it too. As soon as the govt stops functioning all hell will break loose.
But the thing is they're not throwing out the money like they promised. There is already frustration regarding the stimulus check. People can't even log on to the website.
Sure, there are some people who have gotten it, but most haven't. And really $1,200 if you got laid off isn't much. In some places that could be your rent.

Why do you think they are having so many problems with the stimulus as well as people on UI having trouble even filing a claim? These are all things to be expected as a collapse progresses, (less and less help coming from govt).
I know the states UI problems are not due to the system being overloaded, its because they are waiting on the money!
Federal and state govts are NEVER going to tell the public these things though, they are going to make excuses, and try to keep people hopeful.
