I love how the 20% who insist on ending the shutdown to end immediately are so overrepresented here.

Dream on, and wish the virus away. But seriously, your guy is toast in November.

Pandemic + Economic collapse = One term lame duck

That's what could happen in the most extreme of the cases. Most people will have mild or no symptoms at all.

So only 20% of the population needs to work, socialize, exercise in the sun, celebrate with family, worship their god...

As soon as the govt stops functioning all hell will break loose.
But the thing is they're not throwing out the money like they promised. There is already frustration regarding the stimulus check. People can't even log on to the website.

Sure, there are some people who have gotten it, but most haven't. And really $1,200 if you got laid off isn't much. In some places that could be your rent.

I hope it doesn’t get too bad the next time around but if it does that’s life. We have to deal with it like we always have in the past.
Exactly right, Here in CA their is a lot of frustration and in other states. People can't apply online, can't even wait on hold if they call, it disconnects the call. Others who did actually be able to apply are still waiting for their first check 4 weeks later.

Not good. When people start to feel like they have nothing left to lose, they have nothing left to lose.

Listen to your leader. Drink Clorox. Rinse and repeat.

And if you're still alive then, watch him get destroyed in November. Because he will be crushed in November. And with good cause.
Who has said to drink Clorox?

Oh yeah, we need to shut the country down every time there's a new flu bug. The liberals are truly nuts and showing their true colors.

Awe does someone need a daddy? You can always pay for one once the anti-social distancing ends.

Not a Trump voter (or anyone for that matter), but remarkably, thanks to the failures of your own team, it still looks good for him. Amazing "adults" and all

Why do you think they are having so many problems with the stimulus as well as people on UI having trouble even filing a claim? These are all things to be expected as a collapse progresses, (less and less help coming from govt).

I know the states UI problems are not due to the system being overloaded, its because they are waiting on the money!

Federal and state govts are NEVER going to tell the public these things though, they are going to make excuses, and try to keep people hopeful.
