The flu kills around 250,000-500,000 people a year worldwide. Covid has already killed over 200,000 in about 8 weeks. When people die of the flu, they usually don't die alone, surrounded by people in hazmat suits. I don't know anyone who has recovered from the flu who has been on dialysis from it, gotten blood clots and strokes, gotten heart, liver and lung damage from it. Say what you will, we really won't know the extent of what we're dealing with until we get the casualty numbers in a year's time.
I agree about the social distancing and wearing masks. But from what I'm seeing pictures of, people swamping beaches, protesting, etc., not a lot of that going on.
About 8 weeks? Did it not start killing people as early as November/December in China? That's a lot longer than 8 weeks. That's about five/six months.
I don't know if he will be voted out of office or not. I am not even fond of the man. I will vote for him anyway. Why? Because I am smart enough to know this shutdown and virus was not his fault.

The more get infected - at your contentment, the more those fancy left wing restaurants etc. will not open and therefore the economy of our more rural states will go into the CRAPPER-- that makes ya happy?

Some people with H1N1 have had blood clots, organ damage, dialysis, etc.
You just didn't hear about or (or pay attention) because the flu is a known commodity and not the corona boogeyman.

Most Americans are NOT following the orders to stay at home and the proof is in the number of people on the streets. Where I live in Tennessee most people are not even wearing masks (although I’ve noticed in areas where more liberals live there seems to be more mask wearing) We are not over represented in here, I believe we are likely the majority. Of course if the media were to be asked we would be depicted as a small fringe group of mostly bunker inhabiting militia members lol.
