I agree about the social distancing and wearing masks. But from what I'm seeing pictures of, people swamping beaches, protesting, etc., not a lot of that going on.
About 8 weeks? Did it not start killing people as early as November/December in China? That's a lot longer than 8 weeks. That's about five/six months.

I agree with your reasoning. That and we're going to need him to restart this economy. Senile Joe Biden isn't capable of brushing his teeth much less overseeing a national rebuild.

The more get infected - at your contentment, the more those fancy left wing restaurants etc. will not open and therefore the economy of our more rural states will go into the CRAPPER-- that makes ya happy?
Unfortunately the fat lady still has to sing, it is not over yet.

The economy has not been shut down, but some sectors of the economy have.

Yes. Let them party. That will spread it faster and as an added bonus, they can take it home and infect their families.

Some people with H1N1 have had blood clots, organ damage, dialysis, etc.

You just didn't hear about or (or pay attention) because the flu is a known commodity and not the corona boogeyman.

Dream on, and wish the virus away. But seriously, your guy is toast in November.

Pandemic + Economic collapse = One term lame duck
Everyone will blame the leftists for the economic collapse. The coronavirus panic is a left wing event....period. Everyone knows this, leftists are the ones who caused it, leftists issued the lockdowns, leftists are the ones hiding under their beds. You people did this and we conservatives will hold all y’all accountable for the consequences. Most Americans are NOT following the orders to stay at home and the proof is in the number of people on the streets. Where I live in Tennessee most people are not even wearing masks (although I’ve noticed in areas where more liberals live there seems to be more mask wearing) We are not over represented in here, I believe we are likely the majority. Of course if the media were to be asked we would be depicted as a small fringe group of mostly bunker inhabiting militia members lol.

Leftist media induced virus panic+leftist owned economic collapse +plus years of ridiculous political correctness and an unending socialist agenda =total defeat for the traitors of the left.

Oh, the irony ...

I'm handing out Academy Awards for best overacting in a drama right and left today.

You should be grateful to all three for working hard to inform the public about this disease.

Sweet Jesus, you sound paranoid. Get a grip. Leave the house. Get some fresh air.

Oh, but that was OK because it was a Republican administration ...

There is no evidence that will happen.
Go ahead and hide under your bed, I’m sure you’ll be safe there. Stop trying to tell others what to do though. The rest of us are over all this and we have had it. You will NEVER convince us of all this phony bologna

I'm not under my bed; in a few minutes I'm off to work, actually. Which part of the post you quoted indicated that I was under the bed? Please respond in detail.

Wanna try again?

You've had it with ... what, exactly? Wearing a mask when you leave your house? Being a responsible adult? Trying to have common sense and/or empathy? What exactly has your shorts in a knot? Not getting sick? Or are you jonesing for a haircut? Please enumerate.

What's phony? The virus? Deaths caused by the virus? Lasting health effects in people who have recovered from the virus? Please be more specific ... if you can.

LOL....most of the economy has and you know that.

If you're not familiar with the Great Depression and how long it took for the US to make a full recovery, 12 years. Not until the US entered WW2 in 1941.

Yes. Let them party. That will spread it faster and as an added bonus, they can take it home and infect their families.
Oh my, you think it wouldn't come to you? Perhaps you live out in the middle of nowhere, that still doesn't mean you're in the clear.

You're a really lovely person aren't you. Wishing ill will on others.

Thing is, if civil unrest starts you will be one those who will be saying "I can't believe this is happening" until it's right at your doorstep.

You see desperate people having nothing to lose, think about that.

Sad times for America, but this country had become more divided and it was going on before Trump.

Only in America are people so concerned about where to live due to other people politics, didn't use to bel like that. Other countries laugh at us for that, our neighbor Canada isn't like, they know better.

Oh the irony, it's drummed into your head about foreign terrorists and invaders and how they're a threat to the American people, the American people are their own worst enemy.

This country will implode on itself, it's happening right now. But so many are just too dumb to get it. Can't even think for themselves, there is more than this virus going on. The US economy has been a house of cards for years, but neither party wants to take blame. The virus gives them an out.

As the powers that be just let it unfold, order out of chaos.
