If that were true (it's an opinion, so nobody can really say), then he should have viewed it as an OPPORTUNITY to show he DOES care.

The press putting up "gotcha" questions is a life-long tradition, and part of the job of POTUS. It just is. Obama was under constant attack from the right, just like Trump is from the left. As was GWB, Clinton, GHWB, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, etc..... They all understood what they signed up for and handled it with grace most of the time. Trump is simply not up to the job. If he had any decent response about what he was doing, he would have given it. Instead, he is out there retweeting Q-anon tweets, and telling the American public he doesn't want to test because it might look bad.

Even if your assessment was right, it does not justify Trump's temper-tantrum, nor does it excuse his inability to fulfill his RESPONSIBILITY to answer to the American people.

The Lefty media thinks that they are scoring points against Trump for their party but what they are actually doing is turning Trump into a victim, the underdog and people like to help people that have been bullied...

Trump should stop the press conferences and see how the media responds.

That's some Rose-colored lenses you are wearing there.

Trump causes his own problems. He makes broad generalizations and unsupported claims; he completely BS' on topics he knows nothing about (...anyone can get a test to why can't the general public get a test before going back to work?). When called out or questioned, even mildly, he lashes out with insults and throws a temper tantrum and claims media bias - for them doing their job. The guy is a huge snowflake.

How can everyone not see this ? Because it has been on display at nearly every press conference this year. IT IS NOT BEING PARTISAN TO ASK A RELEVANT QUESTION ABOUT A CLAIM MADE DURING A PRESS CONFERENCE!!

TRUMP SUPPORTERS: What would be your reaction to Obama behaving like this ?? Rhetorical question because we all already know the answer to this.

true.

more than once yesterday, after letting the expert give the answer, he just couldn't help himself. It is a failing.

Like hius answer about the kids with Kawasaki-like problems....after Giroir's answer (he's a Ped), "Yeah, we're on top of that. We actually heard about this several weeks ago" .... uh, duh - no.

The Left is shaking in their expensive taxpayer funded shoes.

PT should make it clear from this point on...if he is treated with disrespect from the press, the meeting ends, which will ruin it for all the rest of the reporters that have questions. Enough is Enough.
Exactly. The reporter asked the question, and when she didn't like the answer, she played the ol' race card. Our president did the right thing by walking away. The old saying rings true in this instance: never argue with a fool.

The MEDIA loves to make far left statements and accusations in the form of "asking a question". It is unethical, counterproductive and not what the Media is supposed to do. Trump won't fall for it. Good for him!

The president is a public servant. He serves the public. Not vice versa. If we had a king, then yes, we could go on about how the king should be respected (no matter how self-serving, incompetent and childish he was).

Not only is not unethical, it his the media's JOB to hold our elected officials accountable. Whether you agree or not, there is a huge segment of the US Population that thinks he failed us on COVID. All questions are fair game, and if he has a different opinion, it gives him an OPPORTUNITY to present us with facts to shape our opinion.

*Facts: It is also the media's job to challenge fact vs fake news. If he states a lie, they need to call him on it. If they call him on it, and he has a source, it's an opportunity. The childish name-calling is an unnecessary distraction.

The press started making it a competition.

Not Trump.

Typical Left wing tactics.......

Accusing others of what you yourselves are doing.

It's because she is the one that asked the question, right? If he had ignored her, and instead asked a white reporter to "go ask China", he would have been accused of sexism.

Good lord.
