We are 2 peas in a pod. I don't like the mask mandate, but I have adhered to it as well as the stay at home order except to go to work or the grocery store.

But this situation would be even WORSE without Trump's travel ban on China, and a strong economy going in which was only because of Trump. My area would be devastated if Biden or Hillary was president due to government overregulation and attacks on the oil and gas industry. The PPE and ventilator shortage is because of DEMOCRATS and their globalist policies of unfair trade agreements that sent the majority of US manufacturing overseas.

There are some things I disagree with Trump on with the virus like how he should be encouraging masks. HOWEVER this will never change the fact that ....

- I will NEVER be okay with abortion
- I will NEVER be okay with illegal immigrants or Dreamers getting citizenship and I will always believe in a Mexican border wall
- Gun rights will always be important to me
- I will never be okay with socialist medicine or Obamacare
- I will always vote to protect our economic interests here in my state which will be devastated by the Green New Deal, and I will always vote to bring more jobs back to the US, which will reduce the ventilator and PPE shortage in the future if more of it is manufactured here. When its made in China, the Chinese government can block exports from ever leaving China and they're blocking it in anticipation of the next wave.
Maybe you should have supported a republican for President like Ted Cruz who if was in office would not make a mockery of it we would not be in this situation Republicans face. Trump is a buffoon who talks about injecting disinfects.

He gets up there says going to withhold PPE from states he dislikes their politicians? If you want to get reelected you don't have a press conference and say that stuff about states you need to win. I don't like lot of Biden's polices but Trump has to go no matter what he needs to go back to entertainment.

This business with the masks Trump is basically telling people not to wear masks, and many don't. I was just in a store with 100 other people 90% no mask. Trump keeps down playing the pandemic wanting to reopen states without any clear plan on testing and contact tracing.

Trump is not able to handle a crises having him in control of the nuclear weapons concerns me.

I did initially support Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Ben Carson over Trump. But once Trump became the nominee, I did vote for him because of the above reasons and he's actually constantly grown on me. Once the primaries are over, its time to close ranks and support my party. In a general election, party is the MOST important thing for me, more important than a candidate's race, gender, etc which many on the left focus on.

Is Trump really even a Republican? Looking back over the years I've never seen a Republican Candidate like Trump before with his immoral history. I guess his character doesn't matter to Republicans no different then Democrats who supported Bill Clinton. I always had the impression that Republicans valued Character and morality in a candidate not anymore, but now winning an election all that matters?

Default Unmasked: MSNBC's Double Standard, Elitist, Mask-Shaming Faceplant

Quote:
It’s a couple of days old, but still absolutely delicious as a demonstration of self-important elite snobbery and hypocrisy. On Memorial Day, MSNBC sent a crew out to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, to make sure everyone saw the hicks in the sticks walking around without masks. “Are they not worried about their personal safety?” the host asks the reporter. “Nobody’s wearing them,” the reporter replies — and at that point, a passerby blows the whistle on MSNBC’s hypocrisy (via Twitchy and Power Line):
Quote:
It’s pretty clear that MSNBC isn’t actually interested in universal mask wearing as much as they’re into preening over their narrative of fly-over ignorance. And that’s what makes this depantsing so satisfying. The supposed hicks are a lot more on the ball than the clueless elites, and one of them in particular beats them at their own game by whipping out a camera and exposing their rules-for-thee-but-not-for-we snobbery.

Absolutely hilarious. MSNBC is a joke.

Default Trump dismisses his own government’s guidance about masks as “politically correct”

No real shocker...Trump speaks at fourth-grade level

Trump dismisses his own government’s guidance about masks as “politically correct” Trump’s latest unhinged news conference illustrates why he’s no longer doing daily coronavirus briefings.

Classic! Gotta love BSNBC called for their own hypocrisy. Of course that won't stop the watchers (all 3 of them) from enjoying their daily dose of FUD.

he shouldn't have said "politically correct". However, it IS reality that outdoors, 6 feet+ apart, you don't need to wear a mask. Even by DC's rules as they might apply to the WH lawn.
