This is the problem. If you say you think they've gone over the top with this, then you'll be accused of not being outraged.
ENOUGH!! Young children are killed on the streets every damn day and nobody blinks an eye. Nobody is outraged.
What hypocrisy.
Exactly. One would think that Floyd was the only who who was killed over the past two weeks. What about the outrage for that young cop, gunned down 2 weeks before his pregnant wife gives birth? Or what about the police captain, murdered by looters? There are many cases of good, law-abiding people who have been killed, yet all the outrage is geared to this one case. Why? Because leftists are using it to drive a false a narrative about cops gunning down blacks with abandon. For votes.
With the police being disbanded, who will server notice of said lawsuit? How can it possibly be enforced? The city of New York is refusing to allow any charges against anyone pro-BLM to proceed, so even if you file the lawsuit, it'll fall under their blanket "because BLM!" amnesty.
Only people that die or are severely injured will be heard ... maybe.
Hyperbole anyone? The police will never be disbanded. Surely you are smart enough to know that?
That said, this is a thread about MACY'S of all things and I am having a super hard time working up rage and fear over Macy's.
I doubt there’s a link, but I’m telling you. When I got to the mall, the sliding doors to MACYs were closed and locked, and about a dozen customers were in the inside, waiting for the doors to open so they could get out. Don t know what else I can tell you.
Well, if this happened in other Macy's across the country we might be reading about lawsuits because locking customers inside was clearly illegal.
I know San Francisco has had power outages in which the sliding doors were suddenly locked and customers trapped inside a store. But this is obviously different.
Now, the decision might have been made by a store manager which doesn't excuse Macy's. However, it does change the narrative.

For votes. Whoever can't see that needs to grow up.

If I were the employees I would sue the store and contact OSHA. This was clearly a SAFETY HAZARD!
You’ve probably seen the signs stating that certain doors must remain unlocked during business hours. But why? The reason is safety. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has specific requirements for employee safety.
