I agree, but doing better is a long-term plan all need to work on, from their childhood on.
As bad as it sounds one of the end results of this is that law enforcement are going to find themselves basically having to use every non-lethal method possible to subdue suspects, as the liability of using a gun is going to be too high. Yes, that does mean that more police officers will die while on duty.
So two officers could not keep their armament out of the hands of a DUI suspect?
And the officer was not dealing with a lethal weapon so why was lethal force called for?
Sounds like an outrageous escalation of a situation where the officer could simply have called for more help if the two of them could not contain the suspect.
Do we allow killling when the police are embarassed?
Oh sure. The cops should have just gone into Wendy's and bought him a milk shake. That would have fixed things.

You know, it's going to be very interesting to see how corona plays out in regards to this Summer of Protest (I'm copyrighting that before Al Sharpton does).
If the cases really start to flare up politicians are going to have to decide on whether or not to shut stuff down again. The Democrats may be more hesitant this time around, if the cases soar, as they want to let the protests rage on.

I say the POTUS shoud sit back...and let the blue states cannibalize themselves.
It doesn't matter if it's LA, NYC, Minneapolis, Seattle or Atlanta...this always happens in their states and cities.
They promised these people "Hope and Change" if they were elected. And from top to bottom, The Administrative leadership is Democrat run and controlled and we still have this problem. WHy?
