And that's the concept of "justice" in America that YOU are probably not familiar with.
So your position is that black people should not be arrested for drunk driving, and the cops should just tell them to turn themselves in when convenient and all evidence of intoxication is out of their system.

Brilliant.

You are the problem with this country.

Drunk driver, possibly high on narcotics too, who was passed out cold in a drive thru, who was jumping curves to park his car away from the drive thru...... And liberals want police to escort him home and charge him later?

Hahaha! Seriously, wth is wrong with you people?

My position is that people (Black or White) that are repeat offenders ( drunk driving) should have their drivers license suspended.

That is as long as they didn't cause any death or serious damage YET.

Did he have a "public defender" I wonder, instead of the personal lawyer, who could have let him walk away from charges scot free?

( You wouldn't even believe how much difference it makes)))

And then you wonder why the country is in turmoil ROTFLMAO.
Erm...his criminal ways is what separates him into "not a normal person" category, not his race.

I for one would be just as glad he is dead had he been white, brown, female, elderly, my brother or whatever. I hate criminals of any race/gender or age, especially those of the violent type and am happy when one is removed from "normal people"'s company.

Did you see the 5 white "faces of meth" in the news this week who attacked a black pastor on his own property? Shoot em all, I wish they had gone the way of Rayshaud.

Would you want a violent criminal for a next door neighbor, or as your daughter's boyfriend?

A simple concept that poster refuses to grasp because she chooses not to. If you choose to see everything with race goggles on, pretty much everything will be about race.

None anwer.

What was actually charged and how was it resolved. Still sounds to me like a plea bargain.

Because operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated is a crime.

As for Dylan Roof, arrested suspects are fed, and I think this is the case in all jurisdictions.

To the people who are saying the cops should have let him go home. WHA? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HECK!? You do not let someone who is DRUNK, 2.5xs over the legal limit, go home. You haul their behind to jail and let them sober up for the night, then they get charged with a DUI.

Tasers are deadly weapons. What if the taser Brooks stole incapacitated that officer, what if he stole a gun and started shooting at innocent bystanders? He was running because he didn't want to go to jail. You know what desperate people do right? They shoot innocent people, and sometimes those shots KILL people. Tasers can kill you too. You would also have a drunk driver driving.

I doubt these officers did it on purpose. It shouldn't have come to a loss of life, but when you're that drunk and possibly high, you're thinking with your amygdala and fear goes out. Brooks panicked and he made very poor choices. He made very poor choices in his life, especially by abusing his kids. Child, elderly, and animal abuse are three despicable forms of abuse and I have no empathy for those who harm children, the elderly, and animals.
