MAGA
No...not really. This is a flash in the pan populist movement that is facing demographic headwinds and will end. It's a joke that went bad.

I started something.......

The mind of a Trump apologist is a mysterious place......

It united you with people you were not already united with? Who? Did it attempt to unite left and right? No it attempted to divide them further.
Look friend. Your "people" have been running amok in the cities of America destroying property, assaulting innocent people and tearing down anything that they can get their hands on. A teenagers frenzied dream.

WE the people are really clear on this... so your distractions are useless. We're not about to unite with a renegade mob. After it's all said and done, the monuments restored, the little anarchists tried and convicted, you will still be citizens.

Deal with it.

Help me understand how they are my people. They are as much your people as my people.

Is it too hard to admit the speech was directed at Trump base and no one else. It was the most divisive 4th of July speech I have ever heard.

Yep, He and we are tired of all the bs. Or did you miss that by not actually reading my post?

President Trump doesn't read, isn't a thoughtful inciteful person.

To him history is the statues. He has no clue as to the origins of many of the statues and why that person might be glorified. To him if you don't see a statue of George Washington -- how can you know who he was.

That's why -- when he traveled to South Dakota and there are no statues to any of the American Indians -- he doesn't recognize their culture as being a part of South Dakota's history.

It's sad. We are dumbing down America if we think we need to have statues to educate people about the history.

The Founders went to war because they wanted to destroy and reimagine the country as founded.
That’s what we’re celebrating this weekend.

Who do you think is better representing that original mindset - those who are fighting for the right to live their lives without fear of extrajudicial capital punishment or those who want to maintain the status quo?

Funny isn’t it, that there are no statues of King George III still littering the American landscape.

Should those have been preserved as well?
