It is wonderful to have a President in office who is so patriotic and loves his country, and wants others to celebrate our nations freedoms with him!
I wonder how the First Nations feel who never ceded the land this Trump photo-op took place on feel? We actually know, because they in no way, shape, or form, acquiesced to this Covid party to take place. In fact, they strenuously objected to it.
Should they have applied the Castle Doctrine? It appears many here suggest that Doctrine is legitimate.
Mount Rushmore really is quite beautiful. We visited five years ago and liked it. I can’t help but snicker at the fact that as far as monuments go it’s one that few Americans actually visit, much less talk about ... and yet since the progressives began bagging on it everyone suddenly has an opinion of it.
What about the First Nations people whose land it is on. What about THEIR perspective.
