Why are you comparing bleach and witchcraft to a medication that has been around in its present for for 65 plus years and in more primitive form for hundreds of years? What is it that has turned you against that particular prescription medication? If something like penicillin were found or hypothesized to be useful in this case, would you go on a crusade against penicillin as well? Even though it has been used successfully to treat lots of diseases and infections for many, many years?
So again I ask, why are you on a crusade against a medication that has been approved and used successfully to fight other diseases for a long, long time? Could your motivations be... perhaps... political?
No one on the left is on a crusade against hcq in general. It clearly is useful in treating malaria, lupus, and several other conditions.
It just has not been shown to be effective against covid in multiple scientific studies, which are how causation in cures are determined.
For some reason, people on the right just can't seem to accept those results, could their motivations be...perhaps...because DJT disagrees?
Representative Louie Ghomert, who has been diagnosed with an apparently asymptomatic case of the Wuhan virus, will use zinc, Erythromycin, & Hydroxychloroquine" to fight COVID-19.
Good for him. I wish him the best.
If he's asymptomatic, how would he know if HCQ helps?

Perhaps an unqualified loud mouth pushing a drug that can be hazardous to one's health, all based only on dubious science and wishful thinking? Real scientists are cautioning against the use of the drug, including Trump's own FDA. Maybe we choose not to take medical advice from someone who boasts about how uninformed he is?

Yeah, I mean, even the SUPPOSED source of efficacy of hcq was limited to situations where the infection caused intense cytokine storms requiring admission to a hospital.
You misunderstand. If he's an asymptomatic case - how will we know if HCQ helps him?
He obviously doesn't, he's just making a political statement in support of Trump with this.
