Is this true? I'm not doubting you but I didn't see that and can't find anything online.
I know he didn't like to wear them prior to diagnosis but post?
He went to his office to tell his staff in person and did a radio interview. His staff has told reporters he did not allow any remote work and people were mocked for wearing masks.
You truly cannot comprehend that one study which has had its results contradicted by 2 others of the same type cannot suffice as proof of your narrative?
That is unbelievable.
I have no dog in this fight. If 10 more studies come out right now showing a benefit and science ultimately accepts that it does have a benefit, I don't care one way or the other.
What I'm saying right now is, the POTUS should not be promulgating something as scientific fact which has not been proven as such.
LOL. Id care a lot. Anything that helps!
But the reality is-other countries arent using it because it doesn't help. study after study was wasted on this because of Trump. Those efforts could have been directed towards things that are real and work, not this snake oil.
Herman caine was a big supporter of this drug too. Looks like it didn't work.
Gohmert will need to be checked daily for heart issues if he takes that drug. That's what happens when you are over 65 and you get Covid-19. Then take a drug which causes heart issue's. Which is why it was removed by the FDA.
It's too bad Herman Caine didnt seek medical attention sooner, and get these meds. He'd probably still be with us.
Herman Cain was diagnosed within 10 days of the Tulsa exposure and was hospitalized 13 days after the exposure. He had plenty of time to take the miracle cure.
I know. So, if this one shows the same results, that should pretty well seal the deal.
ETA -- Wait, was the Minn study looking at prophylaxis or early treatment of symptoms?
The demographic was people in early date of infections not prophylaxis.
Quote:
Today, University of Minnesota Medical School researchers published the results from the first randomized clinical trial testing hydroxychloroquine for the early treatment of mild COVID-19 among persons who are not hospitalized.
The trial results, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, determined that hydroxychloroquine did not decrease the severity of COVID-19 symptoms over 14 days any better than a placebo.
The randomized placebo-controlled trial, which rapidly launched on March 22, tested if hydroxychloroquine could decrease severity of COVID-19 symptoms and prevent hospitalization. The trial enrolled 491 non-hospitalized adults from across 40 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. Participants were enrolled in the first four days of symptoms with 56% enrolled within one day of symptom onset.
Half of the participants received five days of hydroxychloroquine while the other half received five days of a placebo. The trial was a double-blind trial, meaning that neither the participants nor the researchers knew which participants received the placebo or trial drug. Participants were monitored for two weeks to see how quickly symptoms receded and to see who became hospitalized, seriously ill, or passed away.
Give urine tests to the Dems to see how many have been taking HCQ prophylactically or therapeutically while shaming others for using it.
Well since it doesn’t work I’m guessing the number is zero.
