What exactly have they found out? I mean, new facts, not speculation...
They said on the news a few days ago that there is a new variant of the virus, which has a whopping 18 mutations. That shows the the virus can change a lot and fast, contradicting the theory that the original virus can only have come out of a lab because of its characteristics.
I also read that the virus they found in some mine in Southern China years ago and supposedly took to Wuhan, is only 96% identical to the new Coronavirus. 96% sounds like a lot, but then again, humans and chimps are 98% identical and it took us millions of years to diverge this much.
