By the way, I read the article you linked - nothing more than outrageous predictions by the same folks that have been WRONG all along.
What do you disagree with in the link? It shows that the percentage of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients is increasing in many states. If you have different figures, please provide them.

The conclusions seem reasonable. Please tell us why they are in error.

It seems odd: many Trump supporters deny that this virus is 'serious', and equal to a mild flu.

Yet, last night, President Trump again made the claim that if it was not for him, 2 million would be dead.

That seems to indicate a serious virus.

It’s time to wake up realize we can’t close our economy any more, we can’t be afraid. Do what we need to do, wear a mask use hand sanitizer but go about our daily lives. Those who are compromised need to stay home as much as possible. But most of all we need to go on living .....

Every day a different doctor or specialist comes up with a new theory or prediction. I am just going to continue to go with what we know and not pay attention to every report someone comes out with. What will be will be..

That's the problem. People can't follow those simple rules. They must have parties, they must go to parades and rallies. We don't have to close if people could just TRY A LITTLE BIT to follow a few things.. but no...my freedom.

This is the same Dr Michael Osterholm who said back in March just how bad this Pandemic was going to be
//www.city-data.com/forum/57583742-post129.html
The peak flu season is actually later than that. So I think this is a set up period where infections and hospitalizations rise gradually. I would expect the difficult period will be January to March.

Everybody wants to be the first to predict.

I think lockdowns will mainly be in the cities, especially NYC, where they're having problems still.

The virus is also becoming more infectious, which usually coincides with it becoming less lethal.

Regardless who's fault this is.. COVID is basically what takes Trump down regardless. If COVID didn't happen, he would have won in a landslide most likely. Now he probably loses in a landslide
